Coach Fatchione definitely was running up the score.  And if he gets a better offer he will leave Texas State in the middle of the night and never say goodbye.  I really can't believe he has a coaching job.  He looks more like Newt Gingrich everyday.

Start Johnson.  He is the only one that can scramble fast enough to get away from the blitz. The pass protection is not good......we need the best scrambling quarterback we have.

i hope we get a chance some day to get even with coach franchione.  he is still the poster child for bad sportsmanship he has always been.  the only thing different about him is his pants size.  he has blown up like a tic on dracula!

I graduated from a mid-county high school in the 1977 that had a tremendous amount of football success.  I am a huge LU fan now living in Houston.  I invite many of my old high school classmates that are LU graduates and still living in Jefferson County to join my tailgate and sometimes even provide them with tickets and I have not had any luck getting any of them interested enough to get involved on their own without my constant prodding.  Most of this group played football and I swear some of them have a 35 year old grudge against Lamar for not recruiting them in 1977.  I think that phenomenon is a real problem in high school football crazy Jefferson County.  How many ex-players and their immediate family are walking around thinking LU snubbed them?     

has any more info gone out to the public on this fundraiser?

can anyone tell us more?  where and when?

The list of experienced coaches is pretty sad to me.  I would be more excited about Matt Cross or the Nederland coach.  Please no Melvin Watkins or Willis Wilson.  Just my opinion.

Sleepy I hope you are correct....the last thing Lamar needs is billyclyde gillespie sheen.  I hope Texas Tech hires Squiggy.
