North Shore will be a good test for the Mavs. One thing is for certain Coach Martin will have the Mavs ready to go. The coaches and players are excited about moving into 5A and there are some great teams you have to go thru, and they are up to the challenge. Good luck to all of your teams and this is a great forum to participate in.

Good luck to Brenham this coming season. These scrimmages the last few years have been good tests for each team.

The MAVS are going to suprise alot of people in 5A. Good luck to PA Memorial this coming season. you have some great athletes over there, we played your 7 on 7 team at the Texans SQT this past season and they looked real good, very explosive. Hoka Hey Mavs!

The back up is a freshman Reggie Hemphill and he will be another good one to come thru the doors at Manvel.

If you go back and look at alot of those long passes against Manvel the defensive back had good coverage on the receivers. They just didn't make the play. Also, some of those were against 2nd and 3rd team DB's. Manvel averages 224 yards passing a game, and 216 yards rushing a game. They are very balanced this season. Nice information RHBoiler.
