Yeah, Except for the sign on the east end. It still needs to be redone as of the last time I went by. They are working on getting a jumbotron, but that probably won't happen this year.

Sure. But when Ozen was created, the assumption was that they would dominate thier district and any other so-called "low talent teams" ie MC. Didn't happen. I don't make predictions , saves on the amount of crow that is eaten. But all these statements that the DC goes through bmt and that the MC teams dodged the maroon bullet last year make for good conversation, but you never count us out, we don't back down from anyone.

Thats why the play the game sfa. Ozen assumes they will beat Ned every year, but it ain't the truth.

I'll throw Nederland in there. Game in and game out, home or away 90% of the time we outnumber and are louder than the other team's fans. There are usually tailgate parties 2 or three hours before playoff games. We had as many as Kilgore did last year and they were playing in thier backyard. The last time we played LM in Rice we outnumbered them, again in their back yard. We don't play cherokee (thank god) but I remember as an elementary student wearing the black and gold on fridays and buying the ribbons with "beat whoever" on them. I worked in the district and they still do that 20 years later. Almost every kid in elementary and middle have black and gold on when we play on Fridays.

yeah, thats what I was trying to say. It does work both ways against and for.

I am not intending this as a bash against any of those teams. WOS' record is very impressive, I am not contesting that. I'm just pointing out that because these are averages that are posted, that the teams with less games total have an advantage because it takes less wins to acheive a higher average. I was suggesting do averages for 500 games and above played for example or 500 games and under.

Its not really a relative comparison, actually. Some of those teams haven't played a quarter of the games that some of the others have. WOS has almost 200 less games than MOJO. Harker Heights has only played 60 games, where there are teams on there that have played almost 900. The percentages are going to be different.

Now do one by state championships.

The first thing bignedfan, before you pop off, you should read my post. I didn't say that if was Green's fault, I put the fault on the AD. And your comment about the kids at Ned and PNG coaching themselves, isn't that a shot at the Vidor kids? I know coach Robbins, he has a lot of experience having played for Ned and in college. He is a very good coach and it shows. I know Coach Green is from Ned but I don't know him personally. The things he has to put up with at Vidor fall on the AD. That is where I'm suggesting a change and maybe all the athletics will turn around. They are not right now. Finally, you will not make personal attacks on people on this board.

I never said that it was Greens fault. But can you look at the state of Vidor's athletics and not say that a change is needed?
