Kountze jumped out to an 8-0 lead and then EC fought back and tied it at half. then kountze came out after half and really took control. then at the end ec stole the ball and made a lay up with 5 seconds left. then kountze went down court and the ball was knocked out of her hands while the buzzer went off. congrats EC.

what a game by EC! They did everything they needed to and they were almost perfect at the free throw line. that was the best i have seen EC look in a long time! Way to go Bucs and now its time to take care of business in Hardin! Congrats Bucs!!!

EC was leading for some of the game in Kountze and then kept it close the whole game. Both teams have improved a lot since the matchup in kountze. I still think homecourt helps EC.

I believe kountze is either 10-0 or 9-0, not sure. EC is 6-3. thats all i know.

I believe EC is now 6-3 in district.

it started out slow for the bucs but they got it together and looked pretty good. Made most of their freethrows. Carlos and Vance played a really good game. Congrats Bucs

The Bucs almost came away with it at Kountze, but Kountze has gotten a lot better since then. EC is really coming along too. I think since EC is at home they win by 8. Go bucs!

Also Woodville has a nice gym for a small school.

EC by 20. The only thing EC is lacking right now is scoring a lot of points.

I have a question that really isn't about this topic but what happens if Kountze beats Hardin and then EC beats Hardin at Hardin and then kountze in winnie. Wouldn't that make a three way tie? all three teams having 2 losses in district. what would they do?

I'm going to have to say Kountze wins this one by at least 10. Its hard to win in Kountze.

out of those 40 free throws... EC only made 16. Coach Hargraves has them working on free throws a lot!

Part of the reason Dville had so many fouls was that they are a pyhsical team. Yes the officials were bad, but they weren't the worst.

Congrats Hornets, yall played a hard fought game. I'm just going to say the difference in this game was Hardin making their freethrows and EC missing theirs. EC had plenty of oppurtunities to win the game, but could not capitalize. Just a bad shooting night for EC. plain and simple again, congrats hornets.

It really did come down to free throws... EC couldn't make free throws (except Tramain). Thats it. I thought it would come down to turnovers but that wasn't the big factor. it was free throws. But overall good game. it was exciting and I can't wait until Jan 29th! Congrats Lions. Good game Bucs
