1.
How much money can a school generate on advertising on the JumboTron? Can it be a significant amount to cover/defray the initial cost? I have no idea how much advertising like this can bring in. Just curious if the overall cost can be severly cut by advertising.
Bring in around 35k this yr
 2.
Mixed-Up Priorities (p. 12) in the latest Sports Illustrated reads: You chose the wrong Sign of the Apocalypse (Scoreboard) last week. At a time when schools across the contry are struggling, Carthage (Texas) High's new $750, 000 JumboTron seems far more outrageous than an Oklahoma City school district's rules barring non-Oklahoma sports teams' apparel. Richard Temkin, Farmington Hills, Mich. Are their priorities mixed up?
Carthage is a wealthy school district that pays a ton into "Robin Hood". If they don't spend it, it will be sent to the state. The school put this up on a bond that was broken into 3 different proposals. This one, an indoor practice facility and about $10 mil in school repairs/upgrades. They all passed with this one being the lowest with an approval of about 68%. Just built a state of the art $17 mil elementary school.  With the money brought in they are able to pay them off early. Don't have to like it, but the tax payers did approve it by a fairly large margin.
 3. Congrats "G"! Keep your boys headed in the right direction!
 4. You can go to bigcountryhompage.com and watch 2 of their games. Look under the sports tab and then click on webcasts... They are very good, and def a contender, but not as great as I had expected.

I also hear that there was an entire tray of firecracker enchiladas the other day that did not magically dissapear............you stay classy TheCru
Yea I heard that they had a HUGE improvment with the new athletic trainer!  I bet Liberty was glad to get that slappy out of there! He didn't do much around there!... BTW, I didn't realize that what I said was classless... Sorry... I agreed when I saw the schedule too, But thanks Coach!
 6. I don't remember his name, but I think he was one of the Coordinators @ Whitehouse last year... I've been surprised by the Liberty games... once they finalized their schedule last yr, I was hearing that they felt like they would have the opportunity of going undefeated until they met Coldspring/Cleveland the last 2 wks of the season...
