I see a couple of schools are already getting new coaches do you think this might spill over into Kountze, for a fresh cup of coffee. Add a new AD and Head Coach for a great cup.

With Kountze only having 1 reciever and 1 running back shouldn't be to hard for Woodville to defend this one.

This is all true when you have the A.D. riding around on his John Deere rather than contributing to the teams success, other than wrapping some ankles you need someone in there that the kids RESPECT and would follow anywhere and do anything for. If you don't believe that look at those teams of late and how they were coached.  Also look at that the previous basketball coaches they've earned the kids respect and lets count how many B-ball tropheys they have.

I was at the Kountze vs Buna game last Friday and made an observation, Kountze had better Athletes than Buna not by much but kid for kid Kountze more Athletic kids.  I know what kind of response this is going to bring (well how come the scoreboard didn't show it) and so on.  But i really think if Kountze would try some more of thier speed and not just run Howard (Earl Campbell) are throw to one reciever they might back some folks off.  I think maybe just maybe if they were a little more diverse things could be different.

You might want to throw in Howard from Kountze as far as an all around back surely you have to say he should be in the top 15.

Apparently what he has around him (Howard) is decent for that type of yardage. Just because Albritton has more please, I think this started as people wanting to no his stats to see if he was one of the top 50 backs in the area and if he's not i would be surprised so please AP and EC folks don't hate just because we also have a good back

Remember Kountze learned how to throw the ball last week, so maybe just maybe this might be an upset of the year

Kountze is rumored to have went out and signed 2 corners straight out of Alabama juvenile corrections both were all state selections before beating on a quarterback so bad they were put away, also they brought in 3 d-linemen just came over from Hawai so this is sure to help things move along Friday Night. Now if you read the above and read some of the other comments you can see how some people are getting carried away with themselves.  High School football is great and in some cases still virgin to all the negative things you hear about kids and what they do sure competion is great and everyone should get a taste but some things need to be carefull of how said and remember these are KIDS!!!!!

Kountze has Howard and though he may not have great total yardage he will make you pay for what he does get, also they have a couple of sleepers comin around and have great speed. And come on people you can't hardley judge 1a by being small WH had a good well coached team, Kountze just outplayed them one by putting in some heavyweights on defense. Kountze 21 Hardin 10

If this comes down to the o-line's it should be Kountze by 14 pts i mean these boys have a line that some colleges would be proud of, lets just see if there backs can hit the holes with some zeal and all shouls be well

JUST MAYBE THE THOUGHT OF THE BASKETBALL COACH BEING THE AD IS NOT A BAD IDEA, DON'T THINK 1 KID UP THEIR HAS ANYTHING BAD TO SAY ABOUT HIM YOU PROBABLY EVEN FIND A PARENT TO DO SO. SO COME ON DEMO MAN DON'T LET THIS GET TO YOU, IF DOES MAYBE ONE OF YOUR OTHER VAST ENTERTAINMENT OPPURTUITIES MIGHT BE SUITED.

In regards to the last comment when you get ready for work are you ready are do get to work and try different things. Come on it's thier job to be ready and to have those kids ready and as for as the negative comments and the kids reading them it's really no different than some of the childish stuff the coaches pull and expect the kids to do as thier told not what they see before their own eyes. Now if this bothers you which it appears to have done maybe you should seek entertainment elsewhere.

This is what i'm saying we will play these same teams in all the other sports and watch wat that outcome will be, why because you have a coach in these other sports that knows what kid should be where and not who his momma is, Kountze will go into the rest of the sports with the strong idea they will win. What makes it hard is for (your) football coaches to say on TV ( well we are going to play tough) come on where is that win win attitude. We've got the talent got good numbers so come on coaches play every game as if it's the last.

During the Tate era he never let politics interfere with his job, unlike now where Your AD is a trainer and some of the coaches there won't this to be thier only job and will bow down and take whatever to keep that classroom seat warm. These guys are playing the kids who they think can further them and letting personal problems get in the way. I now in my Job if your not producing the boss doesn't blame the machine he looks at the operator to see why he is not getting the most out of his unit.

My point even a monkey can see Howard is good but so was Earl Campbell, you can get any fan and they can call Howard left are Howard Right come on folks we need somebody to make these kids get out there and fight.

2008-2009 might have been a good year but i'm talking about the kids we have this year. We have talent I just don't think we have the coaches that can bring that talent out. If you look at some of the newer coaches all thier old schools have winning records why is that. I thought the main idea was to lead by example, like the coaches walking off the field when they get mad come on there are other ways to fire up your players, all they see is when things don't go well jsut quit is that the message. The other thing when your AD quotes we should only win 2 to 3 games come on are we just playing Football to get us threw to Basketball season if so wouldn't the money we speand on coaches and equipment be better spent elsewhere.  We have kids who alot of coaches would love to have lets for once think WE CAN WIN AND WE WILL NOT WE ARE GOING TO GIVE IT OUR ALL.  :o

Does anyone have any suggestions on what they need to change, we have the atheletes but still on Friday Night someone is dropping the ball.

How do alledge to win with a d-line that looks like midgets and that goes for th QB also.
