1.
just what i heard had a friend at the lovelady cayuga game and head thompson was throwing 87.  like i said just what i head.  i also heard he had a real good curve ball that will throw batters way off.
Ok, Honestly he was not throwing 87. I promise you that. He stayed 80-84, PROBABLY. The truth is hes been bothered by back spasms lately. I watched him pitch the second game against Cross Roads, and he threw 85-88, but as of late, hes stayed between 80-84. The Johnson kid stays between 80-84 also. Holland stays between 72-75 with a nasty hook. Garret, Im callin BS. All three of those pitchers havent pitched in the same game all year long. Or all three havent faced the same team all year long, so your lying there. And I just stated the speed of all three pitchers, and ive clocked all three to. So therefore theres no way youve faced all three pitchers.
 2.
great job that just shows they can play with anyone, since overton has not been ten run at all this year till them rebs got ahold of them.... clear theroad bc were austin bound  ;D ;D ;D ;D
Sorry my friend, but yall arent Austin Bound. Yall still have to beat a very good Cayuga Team, which is unlikely.

Congratulations Evadale on 2 very well played games. The pitcher threw both games for them before being takin out in the 6th i believe. On the other hand, yall better get ready cause yuga aint no joke. Evadale your gonna see 2 better pitchers than overton has on their whole team. and their 3 and 4 stay in th high 70's, and can hit in the 80's. I dont think Evadale can hit Thompson or Johnson as they hit the Overton Pitchers. Yuga's gonna hit the ball and make the plays. I say Yuga in two.                                   Cayuga 8 Evadale 2                                   Cayuga 13 Evadale 3
yeah i thimk thats the same thing they said bout the kid from overton, when they said he threw 85, and he didnt even throw 75 so will just have 2 see bout that , and they have seen all the way around 90's and they hit that just fine so will just have 2 wait and see
yep i even said he didnt throw no 85, he threw about 75-78 and it still looks like he shut yall down. Yugas two are legit, i mean stats speak for themselves, even though they dont mean anything. Thompson has 160 k's .67 ERA, and Johnson 92 k's with a 1.77 ERA. But since yall hit 90 just fine, explain to me why Darden was so hard to hit

 5.
Stats mean absolutely nothing at this point or any point in the season, stats get you honor. You think your gonna be remembered more if your batting .500 with 12 Hrs or batting .250  1 Hr and that one Hr comes as a wlk off in an important game. Bottom Line is if your team is full of talented players vs a team with great stats against weak teams, then talented players win. Everytime. It comes down to who makes plays. I watched the first two Overton Cross Roads Games... Lets just say Cross Roads SHOULD be playing Evadale tomorrow night! Btw- Overtons Pitchers are solid....Strike wise.... speed wise theyre average.
well guess, in your words, your Crossroads team wasn't as "TALENTED" as you expected then. I was there too and if you remember well Crossroads lost twice to Overton. In the 3rd game I believe that the MERCY RULE was in effect!! AKA, Slaughter rule, were we got to end the game early in the 5th inning... In case you forgot this spares the LOSING team the humiliation of suffering a loss!! but Overton doesn't have talent? Overton shouldn't be playing tonight? Ur idiotic if you think you can sit here and think that Overton does NOT deserve the win. They have played top teams in East Texas including 2A White Oak that is still headed towards state. Both teams did great and it was an awesome game to watch but Overton FAIRLY won the battle. I presume that your either the type of "man" that sits in the stands reliving your glory days of bench riding trying to be a coach, OR the type that's nuts are too small to say anything in person.... fingers are quick to type, huh?
My fingers are quick to type but your talking trash over a computer, i simply stated an opinion. Btw i never said Overton didnt deserve to be playing this round. Im referring to the first game of the Overton CRoads series when Overton scores the winning run on a passed ball that should have been caught. And to clear something up, im not from Cross Roads, im from Palestine. I just try and catch good games. Like tonights Yuga Lovelady game. For those who dont know Yuga wins 6-5 in 9 Innings! Great game where Lovelady had many chances to score in the bottom of the 7th & 8th. Im catchin the Overton game saturday. goold luck to them, if it makes you feel better. Dont be so quick to judge :o
 6.
Uh..not so sure about that. Overton has an incredible team..but, here are a few more things to ponder..REGION 1..Miles is the current state champion and although they struggled in Area, have been strong all year with perhaps the best one-two combination in state (both seniors..both committed to D1 schools). Hamlin has a lefty throwing in the low 90's and Clarendon hit 62 Home runs total this year..(These are stats I got from a buddy who lives, eats, sleeps 1A high school baseball..can't verify but I believe him!)   REGION 2...Bosqueville, Windthorst, and Axtel have great teams..all are very, very strong in pitching  REGION 4...Mart has incredible speed and a stud batting #3 and D'Hanis supposibly may have the best offense in 1A. Flatonia is also very good and very balanced.  So, I hope the state champion comes from Region 3..however, there is alot of baseball yet to be played. I love this time of year!!!!
I call bs, not on you but your friend, Like stated earlier everyone would know who the kid throwin 90 is, and obviously noones ever heard of him. 62 Hrs? I can maybe see this, if Clarendon played 40 games all on 250 ft fences. Just Sayin
 7.
not sure what team your talking about but Overton has about 6 good pitchers  and a solid batting lineup. Overton's least experienced pitcher (soph) took the win against Crossroads. plus, i'd guess about 85% BA's over .400.
Stats mean absolutely nothing at this point or any point in the season, stats get you honor. 8.
Havent heard much about overton except that they have 1 very good pitcher who throws in the mid 80's who is also their best hitter. I really believe that if Evadale will bring their bats and play error free baseball they will win this series.
Truthfully ive seen Overton play 4 times this year, if they have a pitcher throwin 85, then theyve beem hidding him. Darden is thier best pitcher, but he throws 75-80 Tops. And ive stood next to guns recording that. He is thier best pitcher but he doesnt throw no mid 80's. I still think Overton's gonna win it in 2. But the week after that, their dream goes down, Cayuga will beat them.
