  3. via the link to TSRN sports Kerry posted. I had to download a codec from the TSRN page before I selected "listen" and it still did not "appear" to work. So I hit "play" and it started working. New Braunfels are at about the 10 yard line after a big pass play. 1st down, draw play,,, holding and no gain.. penalty declined... 2nd and 16. 1 minute to go. Pass attempt,,,,, sacked at the 38 yard line!! Flag down... Offsetting fouls... 3rd down at the 38 need to get to the 6 for a 1st down.. Time Out
  4. LC punts from deep in their territory.... Unicorns fumble and LC recovers at the Unicorn 46. couple minutes left in the first half.
  5. Turnover (int) by LC on about the 18 yd line for the Unicorns. Inc pass on 1st down.. 18 yards to paydirt, 2nd and 10. EDIT 4th down,,,, gonna kick a FG... GOOD! 13-3 LC winning
  6. I am just sitting down to listen,,,, has Rodgers scored a rushing TD?
  7. Is there anywhere we can listen to the LC game or at least get scoring updates here. Quizz is hopefully going to break the All Time Touchdown record tonight. He has 128 now..... he needs one more to break the record.
  8. Big Congrats Broncos! That is just the sort of win you need this late in the season.. Nothing better falling behind against a great team (figuratively speaking) and then having to gut check and overcome a massive momentum swing.. NOW you are even more prepared for that final run for the title!!
  9. Great season Raiders.. The team, the coaches, the fans, the community have much to be proud of.. The Raiders fought hard for 4 straight quarters and never quit despite the fact that it seemed everything went wrong and you could not catch a break to save your lives. I hate to see such a crummy outcome by such a neat team, but it happens. I look forward to seeing Lumberton again next year, and I hope you are every bit as talented, big hearted and hungry as you were this season. This should be the beginning of great things to come for the L Train. Mike
  10. I saw something last week in regards to this comment that I found really hillarious. Now dont get me wrong, I am proud of the Lumberton fan support and of the enthusiasm but this was funny.. The Lumberton fans were going absoutely BERSERK and this guy sitting in front of me with his face painted is standing there silently watching the game.. Everytime it would quieten down just the slightest bit he would start SCREAMING "GET UP AND MAKE SOME NOISE!!" or "I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A GRAVEYARD" and then fall silent again looking very angry and intimidating with his face all painted up in blue and red.. He never yelled one single time through the whole game EXCEPT to tell everyone else to yell... Also the fans would get quiet while the Lumberton offnse was on the field and he would REALLY freak out and SCREAMING "GET UP AND MAKE SOME NOISE!!" and "I FEEL LIKE I AM IN A GRAVEYARD" over and over the whole time the offense was on the field. I wanted so bad to tell the guy you are not supposed to be loud when your offense is in the huddle and all that for obvious reasons but I figured he might punch me or something... I just thought it was funny because he was so passionate but did not practice what he preached and most of the time it was at the wrong time... I guess you had to be there...... : ;D
  11. That sounds a LOT like what Coog 4 Life said before he watched in total shock at the demise of the mighty unbeatable LaMarque Cougars in the game that they "could not lose".
  12. Wishful thinking.... : If you guys get out of region 3 it will be through Dayton.
  13. I have attended 3 games so far this year. PNG, Nederland and LaMarque. I will be there this Friday night. I have not boarded the L-Train per-se' but I have been following local teams in the playoffs for over a decade now. Lumberton is playing great ball, so I am there to support them. 8)
  14. Raidernation first time in the playoffs in,,,,, EVER.. ENOUGH SAID. : ;)Lol, but seriously.. Sure it matters. It matters a LOT.. If you play weaker slower teams then you have not seen the faster pace of the game that you will see against better teams. All things being equal, Lumberton would have been even better off had they faced tough teams in pre district.. I think that seeing Dayton in week 1 made a HUGE difference in the Raiders season outcome.. Had they lost that games things would have likely turned out different. BTW, using Nederlands team this year is a HORRIBLE comparison. You have to compare apples to apples. Look at it like batting practice... What better prepares you for the speed of the game?,,, taking batting practice from a meatball pitcher throwing 70 mph softballs,,,,,, OR practicing by hitting 105mph golf balls and then facing a 90mph real game speed pitch??? How many times do you hear great hitters talk about seeing the ball? About how the ball appears LARGER and SLOOOWER when they are prepared and like a BB when they are not. Its the same principal. You takes your chances when you have to prepare for what you expect to be a long run. It paid off for Nederland 11 years in a row babe,, every once in a while the dice just dont roll your way.
  15. I know him AND I like him... He is a cool guy and just likes to have fun with people online. He will be back. I am a little surprised that he has not been back already though,, but I am sure it was a bit of a blow.... I know it was, go back and read his absolute prediction. He did not "THINK" the Cougars were going to win, he "KNEW" they were. 8)
  16. Well, like I said before the game... This was not the type of LaMarque team that they typically have.. The typical LaMarque playoff team would have simply over powered Lumberton and any amount of heart and tenacity would have not been enough. They typically operate by incredible team speed and brute force, especially on defense and they smother you.. This year they were a really good team but they had no where near the talent and size that they typically do. Lumbertons strength is an intangible. They are pretty big, pretty fast but they have just flat made up their minds that they will not be denied. They are winning more on preparation, heart and pure determination than team speed or talent. I think its going to take a pure, overwhelming force to take them down. I dont think that Waller has anything close to that,,, but Dayton does. Thats the game to me that is going to define Lumberton and Dayton this year. Win or lose, they are an incredible team.
  17. I have been to this stadium a few times.. Its a little bit tricky when you get close but if you carefully follow the directions above you cannot miss it... I have always gone BW8 to get there. I might take 146 this time.
  18. Could not agree more.... But that still does not change the fact that it happens. I saw it twice this year... Once during the regular season,,, but WORSE..
  19. Close,,,,, when you get on 150, turn left onto 150 and go all the way to 75 at New Waverly (not that little squiggly that crosses 150 and continues North straight to H Ville on your map.. THEN at New Waverly turn right on 75. These are very well kept but typical East Texas FM roads . What I do is mark the miles when I turn left on 150 from that point to the flashing light at the intersection of 75 and 150... Its about 6 miles. That way on the way back I dont miss the turn.. 1725 is well marked on both ends but its right in a curve and its DARK at 11 at night. Its easy to miss if you dont pay attention, but its a VERY easy route. I think WOS played there 6-8 years ago in an afternoon game.
  20. Thats not the fastest route. 1. When you get north of Parkdale Mall take Hwy 105 West until you get to cleveland. 2. When you get to Cleveland you will run out of road. Take a left and then at the first right take a right... This is just continuing 105. 3. You will quickly cross I 59 and about 1/4 mile past 59 you can do 1 of 2 things. a. Cross 59 and go 1/4 mile...Take a right on FM 1725 and go about +- 20 miles and you will run into 150. Turn left on 150 and go until (about 5-6 miles) you hit 75 and take a right. This will parallel 45 and take you right into Huntsville. b. Cross I 59 and keep going until you hit 75 and turn right... This will parallel 45 and take you right into Hunstville. 4. Once in Huntsville take a right on Sycamore or Bower road... Either will take you within sight of the stadium.. I have been there many times and tried several routes. The route via 1725 is not hard but you just need to pay attention and its a GOOD bit faster. 1725 is a narrow, dark windy FM road but its excellent road and it probably cuts 30 minutes off the trip.
  21. Our Stadium would be great. The Jumbotron we have blows the one at stallworth away and we can hold you guys. But you will see.. DP will hold you too, mark my words.
