1. OU isn't very good at all to tell you the truth.
 2. If you pick anyone but Jasper in this game, you have to be an idiot. Kirbyville is definitely down in talent this year. Jasper on the other hand looks much stronger this year.
 3. Who's going to run the boys' program this year?
 4. Let's get serious and stop joking. Now. 1)Jasper 2)Kirbyville 3)Silsbee 4)WOS Distant, distant 5) BC T-Who cares after 5, 6) OF, HJ, HF
I promise you the teams in 21 3A don't think they are over rated.
I think they may be a little over-hyped, but they are still a great ball club.

It seems that Brenham is very, very cocky. "WE bat .999 and and WE beat the yankees and WE do this and that and blah blah blah". GO COUGS!
Both teams have impressive records.....  Call it what you want...cocky, confident, swagger, etc.  We talk alot, but we back it up.....  If you wanna be the best, you have to beat the best, and untill were eliminated, we are the best.  (Defending region 3 champs) Crosby will have it's chance...  Let's see what they do with it.
I just call it cocky.
I think of it as more of "earned swagger".  ;)
I think it's more than that.
Just like the Philadelphia Eagles thought they needed to go in a new direction without Donavan McNabb, Barbers Hill has a new coach to lead them.  HF is also excited about heading in a new direction.  As far as I can tell , both schools now have hope for a more successful future.  Maybe that is what this thread should focus on.
Nothing lasts forever. Even Fleetwood Mac broke up eventually.
You are correct. The state pulled his master license shortly after all this went down. Because he obtained it by lying about his work history and the supposed hours of experience he had obtained. But I heard through the grapevine the other day, that the state had re-issued him his license back. Go figure! It seems that the guys that are honest and try to do things the right way, always seem to finish last.....and the cheaters come out on top! Kinda parallels the BISD administration, dont you think?
got that right!
 11. He is remarkably handsome. I will give him that.
and wos is still in the top ten! and got stuck out 16 times! haha
Yeah I don't really understand that either. I guess everyone has their bad days.
 14. I hear Johnson had 16 K's vs. WOS the other night.
 15. Tommy Wendling 2-run walk-off in the 8th vs. WO-S last night. It was awesome! Go Tommy Boy!
If HF wants to get back on that horse again, they don't need a nice guy with a great smile. They need "Old School". Nose to the grind stone type guy. Hard but fair, expects respect and get its from his players. With out a doubt the coach in Orangefield was the best thing that ever happened to those boys. I think Price was a good hire.
Agreed. However, one can have a great smile and be "nose to the grind stone" at the same time.
Heck Yes! 12/12 at the stripe and 12/14 from the field. Does anyone appreciate professional basketball on this forum?
I still tune in, but the game has evolved into refereeing ''degrees'' of fouls. Basketball used to be a non-contact sport where one of the objects was to try and stop your opponent from scoring without fouling him. Now it has come down to the ''cheap'', ''intentional'', and ''flagrant'' fouls. PLus they added a 6th foul so there are more to give, and players stay in longer. These guys today couldn't play by the old rules. They'd all foul out.
Yes I agree with that. It's so much more physical nowadays.
 19. Happy birthday to the guy who uses way too many emoticons.  ;) ;) :D :D ;D
 20. I think Menard from BC deserves this. Is Q. Evans from Orangefield a newcomer or not?
