3.
no offence gcm, but big ned wins this 1 in straight games behind bellow and laird, laird would be the number 1 on any team in this district behind bellow of ned and hester of vidor
My mid county boys from Big Ned take this series. Big Ned to much for GCM. I think 20/4A to much for 19/4A to be honest with you. I dont know if I would put Laird above Sweetenham from PN-G. He pitched a pretty stout game 1, of Mid County madness. I wouldnt leave him out of that group.

Catcher... 1B........ 2B........ 3B........ SS....... OF........ OF........ OF........ DH........
can i pick more than 1 pitcher??? lol
Not if it's a line up and that really makes it hard. Not real sure some 3A guys might not make this line up.
Note: the starting post says all district prospects for 20/4A NOT 3A. start a 3A post td.
dont count on it ur vidor boys have been baeten the last  years by bh, gp,bh
his name is NDNS87, i really don't think he's from vidor.....
You are correct I am not from Vidor.... as my name says....but I would consider Vidor as being my boys..... my 20/4A boys. I know quite a few of the guys on the team and they are pretty salty. Vidor does benifit from Hester being on the mound. I sometimes dont think the best team wins, if Hester is on the mound because he gives them a great advantage, note the PN-G games. I will tell you this though, coach Green and the pirates will be ready for anything Crosby has with the district they (Vidor) plays in. 20/4A is a more dominant district, and as I said before [move]20/4A SWEEPS 19/4A.[/move]
 6. PN-G / GELENA PARK      I heard the game times will be:     WED. 7PM   FRI. 4PM  If needed 3rd game will be 30 min after.         Location still unknown
 7. ANY IDEA WERE IT WILL BE? AND WHEN?    20/4A SWEEPS 19/4A    GO INDIANS.
 8. 20/4A would have swept last year. But Vidor was the only team to lose. Hard to do it without Hester, but just about pulled it out. Think it went to Crosby in game 3, by maybe 1 or 2 runs.
 9. How good is the Beaumont Enterprise? NOT VERY GOOD at all. They cant even get the fact of the game straight.  Laird leads Nederland baseball to first in 20-4A By RYAN S. CLARK April 13, 2010 Posted: April 13, 2010, 9:59 PM CDT   NEDERLAND 3, PN-G 1 It shouldn't come as a surprise that a left-handed pitcher made the difference in Nederland's 3-1 victory against Port Neches-Groves. But the identity of the lefty might have surprised a few people. Nederland senior Cody Laird used seven strikeouts to help Nederland claim first place in District 20-4A. Laird has gone 8-0 in his first season as a starting pitcher. Nederland is 8-1 as it looks to win its second straight 20-4A title. PN-G, which is 7-2, is third in the district behind Vidor. Laird's role for Nederland has been important as the Bulldogs opened the season looking for a No. 2 starter after Josh Dean graduated last year. The role became even more important when Texas signee and fellow lefty Kirby Bellow returned to the team in March following surgery on his partially torn ACL. Laird kept the PN-G offense at bay and didn't give up a run until the sixth inning when Blake Reyenga hit a RBI single to drive in Austin Stone, cutting the lead to 3-1. It was Laird's last inning as Nederland brought in Bellow, who picked up the save. Bellow, who started at first base, scored the first run of the game when he came home off a Nick Cardenas double to center in the first. Nederland went up 2-0 in the third after Ryan Brady scored on an error and 3-0 when Tyler Smith scored on a walk in the fifth. First off it was Knox that scored the run off of Reyengas hit not Stone. And Bellows hit a homerun to score the first run for Nederland not a double hit by Cardenas. Lets get the facts close before we start posting in the paper. Give these guys credit where credit is due.

Its definantly not from strength of schedule ei: Central and Ozen
 11.
Butler was not as sharp as last week. Mike Martinez and Chance Czerwonka held them in check, but we had already dug ourselves an 8 run hole. Maybe 165 pitches had something to do with that.
Is this for one outing? What were they thinking?

Expectations are high with the level of talent we are playing with. With the first set up we are still the favorites to win the district. We can't let one bad game turn our whole thing upside down. I say we give our best to Nederland and we will come out on top for sure. Vidor 5 Nederland 1 (that seems to be all Hester allows)
could not agree more. The first way is for district champs, the 2nd way is to make the playoffs, when they take 4 out of 8 teams including ( central and ozen ) who are a little down this year
Don't put the cart before the horse.... Remember what happened and what was said during football season. Vidor would whoop everybody in district. Didnt happen that way... just saying. Hester can be beat. The game the other night against PN-G could have went either way. The train derails for the pirates. They lose there second in a row. Nederland wins this one.

Vidor gets all but 1 first place vote. Com'on are you kidding me? Does LC-M deserve to be higher in the rankings? Outside of Hester Vidor is a middle of the pack team. JMO
 15. I was at the game Fri. sitting right behind the dish. When you as an umpire give a great pitcher like Hester 6 to 8 IN. off of the plate it is going to be tough for the hitters. Didnt agree with the calling of the game behind the plate. JMO I am in no means taking anything away from Trey, he pitched a great game. Great win for him and the pirates. Who will be on the bump Tues. vs. LCM?
 16. Well the Brook will bounce back they have a good team.....Know quit a few of them....sounds like they just ran into a buzz saw....dont know if he pitched against PN-G in the tournament. good luck this season...Brook
 17. Great job Dogs.....Good luck this season.......
