Mr. English is one of the top coaches in the area whether one wishes to acknowledge it or not.  As far as determining whether he, or anybody else is the best coach, there simply is NO WAY to quantify that.  You can argue all day about whether Coach K or Bobby Knight or Red Auerbach or Phil Jackson is the best coach and there is no way to reach an unarguable conclusion.

That theory would be that you take $100 from Exxon Mobil, keep $50 of it to operate the bureaucracy you created to handle it, and then put the other $50 out into the economy in some form of benefit.  No doubt that the remaining $50 does SOOOOOO much better being deployed by the government than $100 would have been being reinvested by Exxon Mobil.  Dont you understand, yet, that the Federal Government is one of the finest and most productive money managers in existence?  If you dont believe me, just check out their sterling track record.

[/quote] "accomplishments" is very much a relative term.  Some will say how far you get in the state tournament or how many times you won district is THE definition of accomplishment.  Somebody else might say what Mr. English has "accomplished" over his coaching career is pretty remarkable and I agree.  If one coach  has a constant stable full of athletes and gets to the regional or state tourney frequently, you could certainly say that is an accomplishment or you could say he is/was very fortunate to have such a collection of athletes or, perhaps, both.  If another coach turns a consistently losing team into a district champion without such a stable, it might be viewed as an equal or superior "accomplishment"

All you need to do is come up with a topic that the board finds more interesting.

Poppa- While the numbers are accurate, there was not a significant difference until Silsbee won both games last year.  If HJ would, by some chance, win both games this year, it would be about as close as you could possibly get for the aforementioned period.  On the other hand, if Silsbee wins both games this year, one can make the case that they have dominated.  But, at this point, that is hardly the case.
