  1. I hope so, because we're still in Dallas and we aren't returning until we have power, which since we're fed from Bridge City/Sabine Pass, we most likely won't have for a while... Same here, because we're in Orlando Florida and we are not returning as well if we don't have power. According to LU.edu As progress continues in restoring the campus after Hurricane Ike, university officials are considering dates for the resumption of the semester. A date for the start of school will hinge not only on the condition of the campus but also on the ability of a majority of students, faculty and staff from the region to return. At this point, it looks like that date may be around the middle of next week, officials said. Meanwhile on campus, electrical power was restored to the majority of the campus Monday evening and power was restored to Cardinal Village Tuesday night. Work continues to restore power to the Montagne Center. Campus information technology staff worked Tuesday to launch the university intranet system, myLAMAR, and student information system.
