Silsbee Sophomore, Matthew Deaver, won the Regional Singles Tennis Championship today. Matthew defeated his first opponent from Shepherd yesterday, 6-0, 6-0. He then defeated a tough opponent from Bellville, 6-1, 4-6, 6-1. Today, he defeated an opponent from Center 6-4, 6-2 and won the Championship this afternoon defeating an opponent from Center 7-6, 6-3. Congratulations Matthew! We are proud of you!

Matthew Deaver, Silsbee Sophomore, won the Boys Singles Title at the District 21 3A Tennis Tournament today defeating Matt Minick of Hardin Jefferson in the final, 6-3 6-3. Congratulations to Matthew and all the other winners from our district!

Thanks for the kind words. I think Ahmad is one of the most fun players to watch. Most teams underestimate his quickness. Harper is also fun to watch. He is not just a quarterback. One of my favorite players is Terrence Jones. He just gets the job done. Congrats to the Tigers and once again thanks for giving our team some credit.

It not just male bonding. Once again, I am a girl and I love being in the deer stand and enjoying the nature around me.

There are two of the biggest, fattest squirrels who run and play outside my deer stand. They are always there and I look forward to seeing them everytime.
