Isnt the coach at sabine pass L. Mallett. He was a good player for the bruins in his day. Overall this district looks a little weak though. I would say Evadale was the front runner for district though.

Sloppy or not truth is truth. You must be a cardinal though. Yall are better than some give you credit for. Just wondering though which team will have less turnovers. That will be the deciding factor.

Looking at these two teams i would have to give the edge to the sharks only because they fumble less than the cardinals which is ahrd to believe since both team scant hang onto the ball. I for see a sloppy game with the sharks on top by 6. Also the sharks have the edge with there kicker.

Its a sad situation there in Deweyville and not sure who to blame but i do know that problems tend to dissappear when a team is winning or at least it seems that way. When the yound man hurt his leg I did hear that the head man didnt go to see him but that tons of other people did including coaches from the past. From the people i have talked to though the AD is a stand up guy I think he is just not used to all of this. By the way good luck to the rest of deweyville athletics.

Is Sabine Pass that bad ive been hearing good stuff but sounds like they should keep playing jv games.

Seems to be a lot of kids or at least childish people on this post. For what i have seen this district is fairly cut and dry. EC will be first and DVille second the rest is just not important cause none of them will go past the first round. Im sure ill get some childish comments but im glad yall are supporting your teams or maybe your just a bunch of athletic supporters.

This one will be bad. Very bad. West Hardin is just too powerful and big for that district. which is one of the weakest in the state.

Ryan butler was his coach his freshman and sophmore years and Neece his junior year. Then Vines His senior year. Vines was there for his sophmore through his senior year and they won or tied for district all three of those years. All three of there coaches were well liked by the kids in deweyville.

I have personally heard from referees mouths things that tell me they favor or call in a certain direction. Example " coach you are just outmatched anyway so stop whinning" " you didn't have a chance in that game anyway coach " These were in a game where the final score was like 38 to 24 and our team lost but played well and several biased one way calls helped to determine the outcome of the game. We weren't suppose to win anyway is what their mind set was.

I Know there are some kids on the varsity over here that will be playing on jv because they have sast one game or another and will be allowed to suit up against sabine pass but i dont think they will be a big help. But the way the jv has been playing they wont need them i still think they can win.

Just wondering what you think. Does the size of the school a coach works at reflect his actual coaching ability. In other words is a 2A coach worse than a 5A coach just because he is in a smaller school and how would he do in a bigger school.
