Quit being jealous that dayton has a good coach and give credit where it is due.

Are you talking high school career at QB or beyond? If only HS, I thought Earl Thomas played QB at WOS as did Dakari Pearson at Dayton.  Both ended up at UT as db's but they were pretty good behind center if my memory serves me correctly.

Who do you want your team to thrash this fall?  Your team, other team, and why? Let's get the board going again with a little off season smack talk.

How much patience will you eagles have with your new coach?  Are four or more district losses acceptable this coming season? (it's likely) How about beating dayton once a decade like crosby? It sounds like the guy will be able to install a good program, I'm curious to see how long he has before the complaints start rolling down the hill.

Honestly, I think the pre-district schedule is going to prepare a lot of young players by placing them in a trial by fire situation.  The tough schedule will pay dividends in the playoffs.  By the way, has a definite schedule been set yet?

I think they coach for the free t-shirts, the opportunity to wear shorts on a regular basis, and the exhiliration that comes from tooting on a Fox 40.

Looks like the hater-ade is being passed around like bottles in the VIP.  Bottom line, the kid is in a crappy situation and needs to make the best decision that he can for his future. Hopefully, he will get it together and make a move in a more positive and productive direction. I do wonder if the response to this would be any different he played his high school ball at a school on the other side of the trinity.

If I had a dollar for every dayton player that was on tip between the ages of sixteen and 22, I could buy a really nice bicycle.  Who cares what the crowd at the country kitchen thinks he did.  He should transfer to Nebraska and reunite.  Houston was a use it or lose it deal as far as his talent on the football field goes.
