  1. Don't know if this has been posted, but here is a graph showing the trend in numbers since 1998 and the 08-09 projections. Link: [Hidden Content]

  3. I guess next time he won't hold the ball out like that before he goes into the end zone
  4. I love it when a loss is blamed on Refs. In every game and over the course of a season there are bad calls and they even out. Its a part of sports and always will be, you just have to deal with it.
  5. Didn't say anybody was scared, just saying this isn't the same Kirbyville that Newton used to beat up on when they were 3A. Also, I didn't say that Kirbyville was under 400 in enrollment. The 3A-2A cutoff IS NOT 400. Kirbyville will probably be 420-430.
  6. I know you don't want Kirbyville in 2A, but Buna and Anahuac were over 400 last realignment (413 and 402). Kirbyville may not be below the 3A-2A line, but I bet they will be closer than last time (453).
  7. Honestly, how do you know that they were not penalties, instant replay? The likelihood of you actually seeing where the hold occured on a TD run is slim to none. Sometimes they happen behind a play and 99% of spectators will be watching the ballcarrier not everyone blocking unlike the officials. Not saying you are wrong... but penalties happen.
  8. What about combining Newton (350), Jasper (819), and Kirbyville (453) and still being 4A. Combined they would be at 1622 based on the last alignment. That would be the biggest school in 22-4A.
  9. I played and graduated with Del, when did you play?
