Sub varsity games are back on, now

HD has already told Hardin they won't play next year.

My husband is a coach where my son attends school.  He is not his position coach in FB.  But he is harder on him, then any kid on the field.  If a kid gets special treatment, it will hurt him eventually.  Most coaches sons, are used to having to prove themselves to everyone, that they deserve to be there in the 1st place.  No matter their talent level, someone is going to always say they are only playing, starting,getting the ball because of dad or mom.  Most of these kids are athletic enough to earn that spot and respect.  It is unfair for those who get positions because of the parent, but it happens in life,  life is unfair at times.  It should make you,work harder so you cannot be ignored.

We appreciate the compliments.  Dumas is a good athlete.    He is motivated to do well his senior year.  I pray for a healthy year. 

There is no one superstar at Hardin,  or beast per say,  several athletic players, working together as a team.

Grew up in Port Acres,  live in Beaumont, son attended BISD and now a senior at Hardin,  I root for several kids on different teams. 

Being it is the 1st coaches all star game,  give them time to,sort it out. even if its $200 a kid, it's more then 0.    And it's entertaining .    I would like to see a unsigned senior showcase in this area.  One that college coaches would attend.  Lots of talent in the southeast texas area.

Sharp got a offer from Baylor this weekend, and he won state in the 200, and on 2 relays, helping his team win a state track title.
