No predictions necessary for this one. It will be a heck of a game. These teams always have great battles. Hopefully, this year we can get at least one of the mustang jinxes off our backs.

PNG will kickoff and score a saftey on the first series. Then later in the 1st half the defense will come up with a fumble recovery on a 2 point conversion and take it 99 yards for 2 more point. and then in the 2nd half the offense will rev up for a field goal. SO PNG rolls a 7 the hard way. ;D

Well last year most of the people in the triangle had us picked to finish 4th or worse, so it does not surprise me that some people this year are not picking us to repeat as district champions. My picks for the top 3 are: Dayton Central PNG 3rd place could be PNG, Nederland, LCM or Ozen

I wanted to start a new thread. The other thread was too negative. We are all very proud of the boys on our mile relay. You are all champions in our hearts. I watched you boys run early in March and followed you throughout the season. It was amazing to see how much you all improved. Hold your heads High....you have made us proud.

The Dayton Coaching staff is to be commended here.... I mean they must have been working all year on how to make up a 10 meter deficit in only 200 meters and then pass the opponent and then "kick" the baton out of the competition's hand after passing them.... Wow... that took some prep time to be able to do all that.

If it was the foot, then the Dayton runner must have been in front of the kid from Barbers Hill.

Dayton gets this one and lives to fight another day.

Here is the problem with baseball. You have way too many people who think that they know everything. You have Daddys who coached little league, select and whatever else you have......They think that because they put on a yankees shirt in t ball that they are all of sudden Joe Torre. The coach from Dayton is a professional. And he CARES about his kids. He is not going to jeopardize a young man's future to win a high school game. The problem I see is there are too many people on here who have some kind of axe to grind against Dayton and they want to criticize the coach and even his parents, The player from Dayton pitched a great game from what I can see. I don't think you should criticize anyone here. Maybe you should applaud him and talk about the great performances he has given. Way too many people on this board are very upset that Dayton entered your little Golden Triangle World back in September and has been at the top or very near it ever since.

You guys need to get off the Dayton Coach and the whole issue of whether he used him too much or not. The Dayton Coach knows his kids and their limitations. I am sure he would not put anyone in harms way. Congratulations to the Broncos and I hope that the kid from Vidor Gets well soon.

I have to agree. Crosby is our bigget rival and in the past few years it has gotten more intense......But I can definitly see a rivalry brewing between Ned. and Dayton.

GP will not have an answer for Micah, you are right about that....but I believe the Broncos had an answer for him.....to the tune of less than 4 yds per carry.

Dayton wins this one by 20. 27-7. Crosby will put up a good game for a while and it will be exciting getting to play our biggest rival again. But I think we are too strong for them. It should be fun though...... Highway 90 shootout makes its return.
