Beaumont Blast 14U Open Tryouts Sunday Jan 20th    2:00-5:00 pm Beaumont Athletic Complex on College Street Field: TBA Many of you in the local softball area know the Beaumont Blast 14U team. We will have returning players at try-outs, but all positions on the field are earned and continued hard work must be demonstrated to hold that position.  What’s new with Beaumont Blast this year is our coaching staff.  We are excited to have Coach Jenna Rodriguez and Coach Courtney Hodus from the Lamar University Softball organization to work with our players. Open Practice / Try-Outs - Sunday January 30th on college Street has been cancelled due to poor weather conditions. Please check back for updates.

Beaumont Blast 12U will be holding Open Practice/Try-outs on Saturday January 22nd and Sunday January 30th at the Athletic Complex on College Street in Beaumont.  Open Practice/Try-outs on both days will be from 2:00 - 5:00pm. In reply to SETXchamp.  I will only speak on what I have complete knowledge.  We have always taught our daughter that she plays the position that the coach puts her in and she is to play that position to the best of her ability.  We would never get involved in a team just so our daughter can play a certain position.
