1. What's your email and I will send the Liberty Boys Schedule to you.  We play Porter tonight at 6 pm and then travel to Texas City on Friday.
2. Liberty only gave up 3 goals in the second round of District play.
3. Liberty over HF 3-0.  Sergio Castellanos scored twice and Roberto Salinas scored the other goal from a throw-in to goal.  Good game.
4. HF vs Liberty in Liberty at War Memorial Stadium 7pm Tuesday January 11.  Play-off teams from last year.  It should be a well played match between two promising sides.
5. I've no doubt that Silsbee will be improved, but those players that were lost because of the fighting incident werent going to make that much of a difference.  I hope Silsbee is better because I hope all the teams are better.  I want soccer in this region to become known as great soccer.  Be realistic about what you can do, then improvement can be made.  BTW Im not from Livingston, I'm from Liberty and I saw all of the games last year.  FYI referees dont take away goals because a team complains.  They could care less who wins because they arent from around the area that they officiate.  I will repeat my previous statement: Lumberton and Livingston will be the top two teams and everyone else will be fighting for those last two spots.  May the best team get them.  Good Luck!!!!
6. Moreno from Livingston is the best player in the district. 3 time Offensive MVP.  Martinez from Liberty dropped out of school.  Castellanos is a sophomore and last year's Newcomer of the Year.
7. Anyone that predicts Lumberton to not win 37 4A is out of their mind.  Their JV team would have made the play-offs last year.  They don't rebuild, they reload.  i'm not exactly sure how bad Vidor and Lumberton pounded Silsbee last year, but Livingston beat them 8-0 combined score and Liberty beat them 9-0 combined score. They better have more than one "ESPN" kid or it will be another long season. Livingston's Cirilo Moreno is the best player in the district hands down. He is the three time Offensive MVP and totally unstoppable.
8. Liberty is returning a number of starters from a play-off team, including 37 4A Newcomer of the Year Sergio Castellanos.
9. First of all, missing starters does make a difference to a 3A first year program, but maybe not to an established 4A squad.  Why is everyone all over HF as a first year program?  Liberty is a first year program and they made the play-offs as well.  District 40 slapped district 38 anyway, so the conversation about which district is better (37 or 38) doesn't even matter.
10. District 38 caught District 37 during Spring Break, which was critical to their success.  Liberty and Livingston were both missing several starters, which changed the whole outlook of the games.  District 38 might be better, but it was more timing than talent.
11.
well thanks bullet for actually giving us a point lol but when we played liberty we played stupid... 2 of the goals were own goals and the  grades, the fight, and some injuries received during our practices have hurt us so hopefully we will have them back for our game against hj... im thinking were going to surprise yall... silsbee 2 - hj 1
Silsbee didnt have any own goals against Liberty!!
