I feel bad for this BU defense. Seems like they get left out to dry by this offense.

Honestly after 10 games last year no one thought Crosby would run the Gauntlet. I remember seeing the Bracket and realizing the Route was likely Willowridge-Texas High-Huntsville-FB Marshall- Lovejoy(Didn't realize they'd lose)-Aledo.

Parcells never counted preseason. In fact he was notorious for sticking to his script in preseason if his script said QB gets 20 plays then 20th play on 2 yard line? he'd pull his QB.

A weak schedule has you sitting at 2-0

imma take Montgomery in this one. Very unimpressed by BU this year.

46 att 312 yards 6.8 avg That's telling of a very porous run defense.

Side prediction. McCoy Casey has 2 sacks in this game and half a dozen hurries. This PAM o-line better triple team him because they will not win 1 on 1 battles versus him, and even 2 on 1's he's gonna make big plays.

The way our defense has been playing against top competition. The way yall struggled into the 4th quarter with Bh.

Meh, We should win this one but not if we keep missing wide open receivers running down the field for sure TD's

I think we are a hesitant fan base. We don't go to State very often and have a brutal region. So when we talk about these games ultimately we are worried about those games against Huntsville, and Fort Bend Marshall, and Maybe Texas High. So we see someone like Manvel and we realize they will have the size and speed like a FB Marshall. Or a Carthage who has a defense very similar to Huntsville. So we are in compare mode and we have to execute to win those games. Now Manvel would likely beat anyone on our schedule, or in 5AD2 minus maybe Aledo. Carthage would beat anyone in our district, IMO. Now We play PAM, if we play poorly again in that one then you'll see people a little worried about this team. Especially given BH is only a couple games away.

Good game Manvel. 35-21 Final. Defense gave up 28 offensive points to a team that just dropped 42 on Dickinson.

Two previous plays tho are killer. got flushed out of pocket and couldn't get the ball to open Womack play before. Next play Womack mistimes a jump and drops the ball. Next Play looked like Kirkwood was coming down with it and CB ripped out of his hands.

50/50 ball in endzone. Manvel comes down with it.
