I made a run out to the field last night and their a close to 30 chairs on the home side and none on the visitors side. Also NONE of the chairs are chained up.

So how do yall think Jasper is going to do in Football next season?

The strike zone fans are definitely going to be there and they are going to play a factor and tick some people off. lol. Thats what they do. They are definitely proud. I just think that Jasper has the better team. The games will be close but Jaspers pitching is pretty good and if it by some chance is bad they have the hitting to fix that problem.

I think if its a 3 game series then jasper will win it in 3 and if its a 1 game then Jasper will still win. Jasper's pitching has been a little inconsistent but the great thing about Jaspers ball club is that if the pitching is bad that night their hitting can make up for that.

Its a little early to throw this coaches name in with those already mentioned but I have to give some credit to Mike Bickham of Jasper. He is really turning the program around for the better and now Jasper is even MORE competitive. Jasper usually is a team that when they are down they give up but this past year Jasper played ball to the very end and the defense was solid. Just got to get that offense rolling a little more but I'm excited to see what Coach Bickham does. Go Dogs.

Alright So I think that Kirbyville is going to be tough. However do not doubt Jasper. When Jasper started the season last year everyone counted them out because of the fact that they lost Dominique Bailey and look what happened. Jasper has a real solid defense this year they just need to figure out the offense. Jasper needs to start passing the ball more and get away from the option plays. Way too predictable. I can't wait for football season.

MIKE BICKHAM FROM JASPER!!!!!

Mike Bickham from Jasper. He has transformed these dawgs into a contender for state. Last year the dawgs were 4-6 overall with 3-2 in district. This year the dawgs are 7-2 overall with a 3-1 district record with still one game to go. Jasper lost a lot of key offensive and defensive players last year and were predicted to do little to nothing more than last year and now look. The only teams Jasper has lost to was the Number 1 and Number 2 state ranked 3A teams. Mike Bickham deserves a lot of credit for transforming the dawgs.

I believe they will. I predict Jasper by 10.

Ok this is just getting annoying. I know rankings don't count but still. Jasper deserves better. They have worked their butts off and still nothing. Thats bull.

Great win for the Dawgs. With the stangs losing to silsbee maybe Jasper will finally get recognized as one of the top ten 3a teams in the state.

Im going with cedric mcgill from Jasper. He was the key player in the silsbee game and wos game in my opinion. 8 interceptions already.

After the way Jasper's offense wasn't clicking all that great Mike Bickham will make sure the guys step it up. I say Jasper by 21. Jaspers defense is doing great right now.

So after this I still think jasper has a great team. In the past couple of years if jasper was behind they couldn't make a comeback but jasper proved themselves to me. Go dawgs!

See I hear people say stuff like this all of the time. Jasper won by skill. You can put it on bad calls you can put it on on luck the fact is wos has lost only one game and that's to the jasper bulldogs. Jasper has skjll on both sides of the ball.

Can someone tell me why Jasper is behind WOS? Jasper has done outstanding and has beaten two state ranked teams one being WOS

Whats the deal? why is WOS ahead of Jasper? Jasper is playing great football right now. Im not saying they should be ranked in the top ten but at least higher than wos right now.

Jasper Bulldogs Offense-B. In the first two weeks Jasper didn't do so hot with all of the turnovers but they have really stepped it up these past two weeks and have proved they aren't an offense to be messed around with Defense-B. I give the dawgs a b because of this. At Gilmer the defense held them to only a touchdown at the half but then came out and played sloppy. At Kirbyville they definitely showed improvement by not giving up. Against WOS and HF Jaspers defense was raw. They intercepted wos like 4 times in that game and returned one for a touchdown and against HF (even though there offense is not so good) held them to 13 and returned a 90 yard int for a td. Special teams-C. They are getting good yards on returns but are also giving up yards on the other teams returns. Head Coach- A. Mike Bickham is amazing. He has changed this team dramatically from last year. After the loss of dominique bailey, Kwame Spikes and much more Jasper was predicted to be even worse this year and look at what happened.....THEY ARE EVEN BETTER. Jasper has a great overall team this year they just need to keep working on the turnovers and stop committing so many penalties. GO DAWGS

Im from Jasper so naturally I am for Jasper but this is because I believe Jasper has alot of skill this year. I watched Jasper 5 and 6 years ago and Jasper was pretty beast and I look at this Jasper team and think that they are back. Jasper has a solid offense and the defense is doing spectacular this year. I predict Jasper by 14

I think it should be the best New head coach and Im going with Mike Bickham from Jasper. Beating two state ranked teams and both big rivals is a pretty big accomplishment.
