WHo is the AD at Woodville?

There are four chapters used by the teams in SETx that I know of. Bay Area(Baytown), Beaumont, Cleveland, and Huntsville. The game we played in Anahuac, they used Bay Area.

With both teams as solid as they are, I believe it will come down to whoever has the ball last. THis game will probably decided by a basket. I think it is to close to call. Should be one of the better games of the year.

I like the old gyms. They have character. As far as for everyone being above HD's court, it allows for better vision and if the bleachers were on the floor, you would lose capacity. I have been to alot of the gyms mentioned. Just because they are new and fancy, does not mean they have the history that the old gyms do. You want to talk about being above the floor, look at Liberty, they did not even pull out the bottom bleachers. That was playing in a pit. My $.02.

I was reading in the TABC newsletter, and this issue was addressed. The rule is that there has to be contact. They emphasized this point because a player should not be penalized for being taller. If you do not touch them, there is no foul. This is a common misconception even among coaches. I have seen players on #33's back and not have a foul called. There was no way they could not have been on him when they are 5'10". But he does not complain about it, he just plays.

Thanks for the props, HD playeed a hard game and experience preveiled. WH has a ton of senior leadership and it shows. There were fouls missed on both sides. But, I will say I will take the misses with a two person crew. A three person crew really slows down the game and the game really gets nit picky. People complain about the officials at HD, but they do a good job of keeping games under control. You have to play Basketball, not streetball like some other chapters. Anyways, good game by all involved.

Coming out of the stands and cussing an official is unacceptable for any reason. Even for a banker. She called it fair. If I recall, #10 had only one charge called on him. The other fouls called on him were legit. There were calls missed both ways.
