2. Wow...I hate to see the rest of the AP All State results
 3. Madden tournaments online
 4. West Brook has 9 offensive starters returning and 8 defensive starters returning
 5.
I also would not mind seeing WB, PAM or some of the upper 4A schools get a regular game going with some Louisiana teams, good border rivalry.
I'm sure a game with WB would be great. ::)
 6. I know for a scrimmage you can feed the kids.  During the regular season if you decide to feed the kids, you basically have to be ready to feed anyone who walks up, this way no one can say it's "for the Team"...the post season is the same, just feed everyone....you'll get the support....I've fed Visitors when we're home and fed home when we're away....you stay neautral and it's not for profit...and you don't violate anything....your just cooking for the free world.. ;D....
 7.
If WB played that schedule they could lay claim to the toughest 5 game stretch in the nation.  Wishful thinking though.  It won't happen.  The SUP. wouldn't let it happen.
Who's the SUP?
 8.
Speaking of double headers, I would like to see PNG play Longview, and Nederland play Marshall or Texas High on a Saturday in Nacodoches. I would like to see WB drop Ozen and pick up Cinco Ranch, Houston Lamar, one of the Klein schools, or Lufkin.  They would get much more out of it than thrashing Ozen, all for the sake of Beaumont. I've also heard K-ville has had a hard time fielding a predistrict schedule with their 2A status and recent success.  Many of the local 3A teams have already turned them down, and the only takers so far for next year is WOS and possibly Texarkana Libery Eylau.  Alvarez now knows what it feels like to be Barbay and Hooks trying to put together a schedule.
I agree...I would like to see WB with the same schedule(Westfield, IKE, Katy, but replace OZEN n CENTRAL with Westlake and Euless Trinity
sarge this award is named for Bubba and Tody Smith father who was a high school coach here at old Charlton Pollard High School, i dont the criteria for it but goes to supposedly best offensive and defensive players in southeast texas C Mike won it .....
Yeah, I remember that...so is this a SETX award and Seniors/Juniors/Sophmores can win it?  Who decides, the coaches I assume.
 10. I've heard of this award, but what is it about? ???

I can promise you that a 4a or even some 5a teams would not ever schedule them.  The "poop" would hit the fan if they was to beat a prominent 4a or 5a team.
Can you give me a real reason why a 5A team would want to schedule a 2A team....so, you're saying Kville would be better on WB's schedule than.....Katy? Westfield? Ike?....hmmm...ok.. ???
I did not say that at all.  What I was trying to say, Kirbyville is a good enough team to beat some 4a and 5a teams.  It's one thing to get beat by a team 1 classification below you, but to get beat by a team 2 or 3 classifications below you would not set well. I did not imply at all, that Westbrook would get beat by Kirbyville or that a Westbrook and Kirbyville match up would not be good for both teams. When coaches schedule non-district games, they try to keep them 1 classification either way.  4a would either schedule a non-district game with a 3a or a 5a team.  It does not always happen that way, it's just a rule of thumb that is used. I'm sorry if I offended you, that was not my intention.
Not offeded at all, you are correct in the fact that it would not settle well for a team to loose to a lower classification.  K'ville has a great team and will win the State Title today....I want to be the first to send CONGRADS!!!  I called Cleo at the nursing home, she said 35-14 K'ville... ;D
 13.
JR playing nose guard won't fix their defensive woes!!!!!!!!! He's a good QB, but would be a even better reciever IMO.
Yes...I believe he'd be a really good receiver...IF he has the opportunity to play at the next level it will be at receiver or safety...I think safety would be his best position on the field...he understands what QBs and receivers think.
Come on, Rey.  You know I never make excuses.  I was saying that because Central used to play Brook at the last game of the season all the time, and I would love to see that again.  You trying to get me riled up with the Central/Brook thing!  ;D
;D

Not in any particular order, but would be a great non-district schedule and a great warm up for district.
Great chance with that schedule that we wouldn't enter district undefeated like this year but would br much better prepared come playoff time. I like that schedule, make it is a tough one. You get better by playing people better than you.
I don't see WB playing 3-4A TEAMS in the "NON-district" schedule...I dislike that we play 2....I say the Beaumont Bowl trophy be awarded to the TEAM that goes further in the play offs and let WB slide in a SLC or WESTLAKE....IMO
