If PN-G does not have a letdown PN-G. No knock on Lumberton, but PN-G is for real.

That is what a physical football team looks like. Good game. Asa Cardenas is a stud. Our defense brought the wood and our running backs were too much. Bring on Lumberton. Off subject here. What gives with refs? Calling a personal foul on Broussard for walking backwards after abig hit, but the next play the WR makes a catch and jumps in the face of the DB with no penalty? Then , calling Schexnaider for delay of game when he is being to told to run and does not know the play is over. That was BS. Third, Asa pushes Tezeno to the ground on a catch right in front of Ned sideline with no call. Was I seeing things wrong?

Good game Nederland. No excuses, PN-G flat out whipped them. hemmings and Wright shredded the defense and our defense showed why they are probably the best in the district.

This has to do with an overall feeling that Ned is unbeatable. That is fine, what else are ya'll supposed to think? We had Ned posters on the PNG board saying there was no way their Freshman team would lose. Same over here. No way they can lose. Well there is ways. It goes to show last night you have to play the game. Like I said before, Ned has a very good team and it will take a great game from us to win at Ned. Just reminding some of the Ned fans that the game is decided on the field, not in there heads.

Our varsity doesn't stand a chance just like the "this team has never lost a game since seventh grade" Freshman team right? Oh, guess what, they lost. We will see what happens tonight. It could go either way. I am hoping for us to pull it out. Do to the fact that Nederland has pretty much dominated us the last 10 years I have no ground to talk smack on. So be it. I am just ready for the game to get here.

BMTsoula...did Central blitz Bellows a lot, and if so was Ned scuccessful in picking it up? To me, one of the keys to the game is pressuring Bellows. If we do we have a chance, if we do not we could be in trouble.

I just called the PN-G ticket office and the tickets are almost gone. Less than 200 are left.

I hope it is a clean, injury free game. I think we can win and although Ned is the favorite I have to be a homer and still pick our boys to win it 24-21 if we play our "A" game. Anything less against an always well coached Nederland team will not cut it.

How are the teams looking so far?

You must have forgot your son is at North Texas this year. I am glad to see he has been having a solid year.

I understand that. I am sure many will bring families if they have them. These projects will go in phases so workers will come and go as each craft completes his job, but the potential for people to hang around afterwards is there. The area is low on skilled workers as it. If people come here and see they have a chance to stick around and make a living they will stay.
