  1. HAHA..... pity....its hard to get now days. Yeah I'll go check out the "Sun" . I think Chads # is 54. I shouldnt miss anymore games at all. I will shift swap the rest of the way. Nice talkin to ya.... later!
  2. Unfortunatly, I was at work last friday night so I missed that game. Noway I could get off..... I was buring the cell phone up talking to someone at the game haha. I'll be there for NC though. I'm not sure who that may have been other than Chad Taylor. But I dont know if he suited up. Just not sure.
  3. BH defense will do what they do and thats stop the opposing offense. I wish all the doubters would just come watch 1 BH game and see this defensive unit. until a team comes along that can move the ball on BH convincingly, I'm not backing off my statement that this is the best Def in the area (4A). All those box scores like the Bellvile, FB, and Jasper games, chunk the total yards out the window. yardage is yardage but its definitly not reflective of what actually went down during the games. Crosby put up 50 vs. Smiley and a 0 vs. BH. That says a little bit dont you think. This is a greedy bunch of kids when it come to giving up yardage, much less points. Yes offense still needs improvment, but hey! the do enought to win. I agree that BH needs to chunk the ball more to open the running game up. Its a good feeling that if the Off. struggles we can rely on the Def. to make a stand until next possesion. And as for the Center situation and bad snaps... If you didnt know, the center for the Crosby game was the 4th different center in 5 games due to injuries, and I'm not REAL sure he ever played there before. Good news is that Taylor, the starter, MAY be back this week. BH - 27 New Caney - 7 (maybe a late TD)
  4. Its for real!!...I couldnt make it due to work, but I had a regular 30 minute update. I heard it was a game of turnovers. Someone who was there, please tell us ALL about it.
  5. BH 7 - Crosby 0 - Halftime T Patton - Interception late in 2nd
  6. BH 7 - Crosby 0 50 yrd pass Patton to M. Fisher Last update I got there was 5:00 left 2nd quarter (I hate working nights!!!!!!!!!)
  7. I fully agree with the play calling. Mason is very much an underused weapon this year but he has Mike Davis out there too. He is big, strong, and deceptivly fast. He showed that against Wharton. Those two guys should be tired of catching and running at games end.
  8. From what I've read about Bellville so far, they are nor big, but fast and quick. We have to stretch out the field a little with our middle to deep passes more often like in the past. Patton and the receivers proved they can throw and catch it last night. We have alot of talent on the outside and that will open up our poor run offense some. BH defense will be able to handle their offense unless, like you said, they have to be on the feild all night. My prediction BH 20- Bel.14 (subject to change haha) maybe another Def. TD in there
  9. I said 20-7 off by a BH TD....I dont mind being wrong like that.
  10. I think they can turn things around and compete if they fix some fundamental things. Like dropping passes that woulve been 1st downs and such.
  11. BH lost almost probably 75 yards of tot. off. due to miss handles or bad snaps. 40 of it on consecutive plays. And most of Jaspers yardage came on 1 drive in the 3rd & late in the 4th quarter best I can remember.
  12. BH defense stepped it up yet another notch i think. D Line played the best I've seen in the past 2 years. Still some "jelling" needed in the secondary but overall a good game. If that intensity and hustle is there BH will be tough to score on. Offense is still not quite there. Yes sloppy. But showed alot of flashes of what could be. Matter of fact I think miles from where we need to be and will be in another few weeks. I know our offense is a run, run, short pass, go deep once every now and again. But with the weapons we have out there we could stretch the field a little more than we do. Maybe the plan is to do that in the near future. Overall awesome job Eagles! You make proud
  13. Thanks for the welcome. Been looking forward to this year since the horrific end of the Kirbyville game. I'm still ticked over the way that one ended. ANYway..... looking forward to the next two years.
  14. You're right! I didnt realize that. That was a very bad habit last year. Maybe that trend will continue. I dont know what our turnover ratio was last year but it wasnt good I dont think.
  15. Whats up all... I'm a rookie here so HEY! I've been watchin our BH eagles since the 1st practice and what happened at the WOS scrimmage I pretty much expected. I mean, we dont live in LALA land and given the new positions being filled at QB, WR, DB's and a brand new O-Line it isnt gonna be perfect. You cant expect to throw an engine together and expect it to purrrrrrr like a kitten. If WOS had lost to us or if it had been a very low scoring game, then I'd say they had more probs than us....but it ended like it probably should've for that time of year. I think we'll beat Jasper 20 - 7. Our Def. is getting really good really fast, and the Off. looked better as the game went Saturday.
  16. The new center is a a Sophmore. He's a stout kid thats gonna be really good player for us
