  1. Are you serious? This will be my last post on this topic because i actually respect HJ and their fine coaching staff. But i need to put you in your place, bottom line. End of story. neon, tell me who doesnt belong? we are talking PLAYOFF SUCCESS ok. remember that. Since the 1993-1994, season which was HJ's last trip to Austin, here is how Kountze, Ozen and HJ have fared in the playoffs: Kountze- Been to Austin 5 times, with 2 State Titles. Ozen- Been to Austin 3 times, with 1 State Title. HJ- Been to Austin 0 times, with 0 State Titles. Even Lincoln, Jefferson, EC, Goodrich, and Evadale have been to Austin since then.
  2. Your're right. Just like HJ doesnt want to compare post season history with Kountze, Ozen or Lincoln. Bottom line, end of story.
  3. Couldnt even get on the same floor with big, bad HJ? You HJ fans act like your s*** dont stink. Wake me when HJ does something in the playoffs. HJ should beat WH by 30 considering the size differences between the schools. But they wouldnt. But it doesnt matter. Thats why 1A teams have their own playoffs, and 3A teams have their own playoffs.
  4. You are nominated for the dumbest post of the year. Congrats.
  5. Masterofbaseball- Do you go to school at Warren? Why ask us if we know anything about Warren? You tell us. And why cant granger play baseball because he signed a LOI. Doesnt sound right to me.
  6. Since your the sports expert, can you tell me what the score of the Super Bowl is gonna be? I need to make some money, and you sure seem confident in your "expert predictions."
  7. Well it was a weak football district(evidenced by the playoffs). I think the basketball district is much better, but definately not the toughest in the state. There are 2 good teams, 2 avg teams and 3 below avg teams.
  8. Lincoln has produced Chris Bosh(Toronto Raptors), Byron Eaton(OSU Cowboys), Bryan Hopkins(SMU), Damian Walker(New Mexico late 90's) among others. They are always good.
  9. NOTICE- This list if for top JUNIORS in the state.
  10. I assume you mean HJ is the best team for small schools, right? Because Dayton, PAM, Ozen are all better than HJ. And they may not even be the best team in their district after what Silsbee did to them.
  11. Tell me why WH cant beat HJ, or EC? I am not saying they would, but you seem for sure they would lose to all those teams. Have you seen WH play? Do you know anything about them? My guess is that your statement is based on past history, and the fact that WH is a little 1A school. WH can compete, if not beat, each school you mentioned. Heck, they have been competing with EC for the last few years.
  12. Alot of schools just give the coach a couple of All Tournament medals and let him sort it out amongst his team. That is to avoid people b*tching and complaining about who should and shouldnt have got All Tourney.
  13. Wait! Didnt they lose to Deweyville in the first district game?
  14. Kountze beat Goodrich by 10 at Kountze. Kountze beat Goodrich by 12 on nuetral floor. West Hardin beat Goodrich by 4 at Goodrich. Is Kountze better than WH? Probably. Does comparing common opponents mean that much? Not really. Would Kountze "demolish" West Hardin? Doubtful. WH's 5 could play and could beat(notice i didnt say would) Kountze starting 5. Depth is where Kountze would gain a big advantage.
  15. Final: Chilton 35 Lovelady 14 Interesting, Chilton by 3 td's. Congrats to Lovelady on a great season though.
  16. Congrats Oilers. I am sure ol Lester never expected this. What kind of game was it? Tight the whole way? Any stats? Maybe WH can get some love in the polls now. Though they dont mean anything, it would be good for those kids to get some recognition.
  17. There is a Boys Harbor out of Houston. They have been decent in the past, but i dont know anything about them this year. Might not be the same one you are asking about.
  18. Anyone have the results of WH in the Colmesneil tourney? Thanks
  19. Call me crazy, but i think Quan and Quincy Crosby could have played at any 5A school in the state. As well as John Garrett who played at Baylor. Most of those Mart kids arent from Waco. They have lived in Mart their whole life.
