First off. Now one is tearing him down. Everyone is giving him credit and knows he is a tremendous athlete. We are just saying that we and everybody else knows he didnt impress as much as he could have. The award could have easily went to someone else. And for the guy who said it doesnt matter that hes going to Texas. Then why would they put "commited to Texas" instead of ALL his stats. Heck 77 tackles and 1 fumble recovery. That kid from Ozen had 2 times as good as a season. I just want them to give awards were awards are due.

Im taking anything away from DJ. Hes a great athlete,but the only reason he made it this year is because of were he is going. Same with Ben Wells last year.

Breon Johnson from Ozen was the best safety in the district IMO.

All the teams coaches know the all-district team. SOMEBODY has to know all of the picks.

Im sure the coaches will wait for the realignments.

Lumberton's secondary will be a little shaky but there linebacker core and d-line will be looking good. On offense they will be returning a couple of o-lineman. But Hanna and Beard will be splitting carries. Offense will definetly revolve around the running game.

Probably Kendall Duvall who played at the defensive end position this year. There is also a very talented freshmen (Ryan Hughes) who will be most likely be on varsity next year.
