Are we using "clocked" numbers or calibrated eyes? That makes a big difference.

Every week one of these teams is on fire and the next week they are flat. The district title is up for grabs.

The same could be said of all 4 teams. Like stated above- any one of these teams can beat the other on any given day! I don't see any of them being a state ranked team.

Sounds like Smesney had a tough outing. I wasn't at the game, so I don't know. But hitting 7 batters is more than 1 mistake. OUCH!

Does anyone know who the starting pitchers are for either team on Friday? I know Burditt(BH) and Langley(Crosby) pitched yesterday.

I agree that these boys are good talent, but the reason they really have a shot to make the Varsity squad next year is that 11 seniors are leaving.This leaves the roster wide open and easier to make the Varsity team. There are some freshmen this year that could play Varsity IMO but are behind seniors. That is not a bad deal, because playing time helps in the end. Just my 2 cents.
