Does anyone know if the 16yr.olds games are going to be posted.They started pool play at noon in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I know it is 0-0 in the bottom of the second.

These young men will be playing in Fort Smith,Arkansas on August 1st. Does anyone know what teams will be participating!

I really doubt this starts happening a lot! How many times have you heard of this before. I personally think you would be nuts to pass up this opportunity. I think a lot of people that are against this decision are disappointed because they do not have this decision to make. Maybe his dad is using him as a meal ticket. If the dad had the chance to make this kind of money I bet he would let his son feed pretty good off of it.

If i am not mistaken people have the right to play where they want. Kids arms were hurting way before select ball,not from throwing too much from not throwing properly and throwing junk at a very young age.This is what I do not understand a kid throwing a curveball at such a young age.I have never heard of any 10,11 or 12 year old getting a scholarship. My son plays high school ball and pitches and did not start throwing a curveball until he was in high school. He has never had an arm problem. If you want what is best for your kid let them (dont make them) play as much as they want. Just watch over some of the decesions a coach may be making for your kid. Dont be afraid to voice your opinion if you believe someone has asked your son to do something that may hurt him now or later. I think any coach will listen to what you have to say long as it is done in the proper manner.

Mason Dallas was 2-2 with 2 rbi. He started the game pitching for the Angels. He gave up one hit and 0 runs in three innings.

I believe it is because alot of the GT kids play year round baseball and no other sport. My son has played 70 to 90 games a year for the last 3 or 4 years. Alot of the kids participate in the high school summer league we have been doin the last 2yrs. I hear that 16 different schools are in on it this summer and most if not all of the varsity kids participate also the other under calsses.Its really a great way to get in about 60 extra at bats . Throw in baberuth league and your kid can get alot of looks at the plate.

LC-M had a kid move in today that is pitching tonight that throws 105! Thats what the Astros said he threw at band camp!

Crosby probably shouldnt worry about Brown, He only threw one seven inning no hitter this year! We all know Crosby is way better and that could never happen to them!
