  1. Wildcat08 I don't know what made you come out with this thread but that rule has been ruled on Central the whole season on the Jaguars, every game they played last year was called on them at least 4 times a game and you look across the field in which others coaches were doing the same and not once did I see them throw a flag on the other school. The refs even tell the coaches to tell the Central band to keep it down and they the others schools have horns, cow bells, what ever that is Nederland fans be rubbing on against the stands that creates noise like a washing board. Its really amazing how they just singled out one school and not others were unjust. Now they going to use that rule, thats funny.
  2. I don't expect them to be one and out of the playoff's, but they should at least be regional qualifiers. By the way never flipped burgers and never will, so what team are you coaching or are you a want to be coach?
  3. Who died and made you the know all of everything and then tell someone they know nothing whats going on. You're making a it a Ozen thing and thats was not my point. Again name one thing he has done to improve thier system and the answer is nothing. You're going all into supporting the kids and all, In which I always have. I said nothing about winning a title every year or state. 1. Attendance has dropped considerably 2. Won-Lost has dropped also, and thats losing to others besides Ozen, even 2A now. 3. No tournament wins since. 4. Only 2 round appreances since and the rest one and out, which has nothing to do with Ozen. You still can not give one thing he has improved on and you know why because there isn't any.
  4. The only one whos' ridiculous is you, Central was 4A starting the season in 2002. Since you still don't get it a team should improve and not go down. I informed you already that they still made the playoffs in which they can do that with you coaching then again maybe not.
  5. I expected that coming from you in which again you are wrong. Central came to 4A on his arrival to the school in 2002. Ozen has won district yes, and Central has won before dropping in level. Sure we lost the state semi game blasted or not we were there and went to reqional 3 more times after that. My point is what improvemnts have this coach made since coming there and the answer is none. I'm not taking anything from Ozen in which they have proven themselves. You can not name one thing he has done while there.
  6. You are very much wrong Dickvitale, David Green team has beaten Ozen and thats a fact. You don't know as much as you think you know about this district. Everything I stated above is facts and can prove it. He's has not finished second all the time to Ozen in which they have finished 3 a few times. When a coach comes to a winning program he should improve something not bring it down. I'm not being coward at all I'm telling it the way it is. You need to do some research your self and uyou will find that they are going no where fast. I've been around since the old CP days and know better. Their program had decreased since his arrival. If you can not get the job done then he need to move around.
  7. Like I said maybe its me or is there a problem? Can someone please tell what has this coach done besides slip into the playoff's since his arrival at a program that was making great strides. Been there 5 1/2 years now and can someone tell what has he accomplished. How many district titles? How many tournament championships? Whats his won-lost record? Any thing positive bring it. I can sure give you thier accomplishment before his arrival. Should there be a change in the making? How much longer should the real fans have to deal with this situation?
  8. Until they get rid of Calvin Rice they will never get pass the second again in which I informed alot of people when he first came aboard. Here's a coach who took over a program that was very successful and was establishing them selves as a top program with that state run, regional the next and quarters the next 2 seasons until Rice came along. Their program went from 24 plus wins a season to what 17 a year. They fan support went from thousands and many homes games sell outs to barely 300 a game and thats being nice. You can take Dunbar coach and probably go farther than Rice. Here's a coach for the past 5 1/2 years that has never led his team to a victory over their main rival which is just totaly pathetic. Central fans you need to open your eyes and see that its a real problem. Only thing he has done is kept the playoff streak alive and everyone seems to be just happy with that in which again any in 22-4a coach can do that with that team. Now that Dayton's in the district and he can not take them down. What Dayton going to go on a 5 year win streak against them to, When will they ever get thier pride back as Ballers again and the answer is when Rice steps down.
  9. No worries, I personally just don't Underestimate anyone that the Jags play. Anything can happen on any given nite.
  10. 1. Central Jaguars 2. West Brook 3. WOS 4. Dayton 5. Newton 6. Nederland/ PAM 7. PNG 8. Silsbee 9. Ozen 10. LCM/Jasper
  11. Cutting Room Floor: High School Coaches' Top 20 Polls Liberty Hill is No. 1 -- according to 3A coaches. Where will they rank in the magazine? 06/06/2007 Editor's note: The countdown is on for the release of the 2007 edition of Dave Campbell's Texas Football. To help the days wind down to June 11th a little bit faster, we're giving a sneak peak at content left out of the magazine. ----------------------------------------------- Ninety-nine percent of the questionnaires sent to every head high school football coach in Texas asks them about their team. Will your team be stronger or weaker? Who are your all-state candidates? What underclassmen will factor into the team's plans? However, for that left-over one percent, we ask the coaches about the competition, and what teams should rank in the Top 5 in their classification. Those Top 5 results will be published in the 2007 DCTF (along with the official DCTF Top 25 rankings), but left on the cutting room floor are the remaining teams earning votes. Below is the Top 20 vote-getters from the 2007 DCTF Coaches' Poll. 12. I won't make a prediction as of now but will wait until opening nite Aug. 31, in which there will be some great openers. Central/Lee...posters seems to think both will battle for their respective districts West Brook/Ozen Great rival, will show if Ozen will compete Dayton/WOS.. again both to defend district titles. PNG, Nederland/ LM, Brenham...will battle for playoff spot and maybe district title. LCM/ WOS ...This game will show if LCM will compete in district Vidor/Lumberton...strength of schedule will hurt but do compete against Central for some reason and I guess they didn't know what to expect against Dayton and just didn't compete at all...First games don't tell it all but it does show what to expect thru the season...All in all anything can happen in this tough district.
  13. Baller you need to go back to your history and look up 2003 where you find that Central lost to Bay City that year in the 3rd. round, and just want to add that Png, Ozen, Jasper, Central along with WOS and Ned. have had great playoff success..If you check the history that WOS87 has created on main page you will find great information. PNG if I'm not mistaken played in 1999 state title game.
  14. Dickvitale you are one sick puppy, Everything you are saying is very much incorrect. The thousands of fans that goes to Central games go to watch football and watch the band perform at halftime and everyone does not get up leave ater the band performes. Central have a great football program and great fans who spend their money to watch some exciting football, You name a Central game you went to in which you probably don't go to any that after halftime all the fans left the game. Its amazing when something negative comes in situation its always people like you that tries to bring schools like Central or Ozen in it. Whether you like it or not Texas is a state for all sports in which fans alike support their teams....Stop the hate....
  15. Central by 6, This note is for the people who are traveling to the game on Sat and if you like watching basketball the game is a double headed with Houston Forest Brook/Angleton first game and then Central/LC...Good luck Jags..
