this is a tough one.....do you go off of just the hs career?..or college?...or pro? Kevin Smith was probably the best pro that I know of...Zach Bronson from Jasper could also be put in that list...he made the pro bowl at least once that I know of Wooster from BC could be put on the list.... and I wouldnt hesitate to put Jamaal Charles and Kenneth Beasley on there just based off of HS careers...also Toddrick Pendland had a great career at Newton

thats correct....Newton and Woodville is covered on this site, and the rest of the teams are covered on detxsports.com

Our coverage area is the same as KFDM channel 6's......If you can get them on cable, then we cover you

Who should be #1??...West Brook...Central??

Newton definitely... WO-S is another possibility, but QB looks to be a big?? thus far West Brook could also do it, provided the D steps it up..plenty of fire power on offense

Although i dont think any team would overlook them, i think jasper is a dark horse

Im sure many of you are familiar with the recent fad that is myspace.com...I found it interesting that 90% of the recruits I typed in had a myspace page...Do you think in the future recruiters will use this...I think this is a great way for colleges to really see what kind of kid they are getting

These rankings do not take into consideration our forum traffic at all....this is strictly based on the website....

According to the website alexa.com, which ranks every website in the world based on traffic, we have higher rankings than anyone in the state that covers only hs sports, outside of the rivals and scout networks, which the data isnt given....this information is based on all of the websites I could think of that cover hs sports in texas...Unless I missed someone, this information is correct... As far as Southeast Texas goes, we are #6 behind Southeasttexas.com, KFDM, BMT Enterprise, KBTV, and the Orange Leader... This is great news and I just want to give thanks to all you guys who have made this possible..We anticipate more great things to come!!

Not SETX news, but some still may find interesting Diboll head basketball coach Kevin Hurley will be resigning and will become the offensive coordinator and head golf coach at Angleton High School. Hurley is following Finis Vanover from Diboll to Angelton.. Vanover was recently named the AD/head football coach at Angleton.
