Vidor should win by about 15-20 points. I saw Dayton a couple of weeks ago and their offense didn't seem to click along with playing a little erratic. As long as Vidor plays as a team of 1 not as a group of 5 this is there game to lose.

The game should be much closer than that and I wouldn't be surprised if Dayton won.  The 2nd/3rd seed matchups between 19 and 20 4A should go down to wire on both games.

Congratulations Vidor and grood job Dayton, great seeing y'all fight back when down 10-12 early in the third. Vidor was right on the brink of breaking things open.

Proud of all the Lady Pirates and happy #23 finally played the way everyone was expecting to begin the year. Yall are a wonderful team and can't wait to see how y'all do against Georgrtown. GO PIRATES!!!

Have to start off by saying great job Amber Jacks best game she has played all year and man it sure did come around at just the right time not bad for a freshman  ;D. Vidor got a little behind early they were running with a team that was more athletic but once they slowed things downs and started moving the ball around and finishing shots in the paint things turned around quickly. I kept telling my dad they better not let this team hang around or it would be bite them in the butt and i'll be dang if it almost did! One of the things that good teams do is when times get tough, the momentum is not in your favor, the other crowd is rocking and the other team has your back against the wall, is dig deep and find a way to win the game and that is exactly what the lady Pirates did last night and I couldn't be prouder. Also just like Rob said Blair made the play of the year last night. Got knocked down to her knees kept dribbling with two defenders all over somehow got to her feet squeezed between them and drove to the hole and scored. Congrats again ladies I wouldnt be suprised at all to see ya'll give Georgetown the ol upset special on Friday. All it takes is getting hot at the right time and playing with everything you've got.

They both have 10+ point wins against Waco Midway. If Vidor plays with same energy as they did early last night and shoots the ball like they are capable of then there is no reason why they can't win this game. It's all about matchups

This should be a good game between well coached teams. Vidor beat Midway with Richmond playing but nowhere near 100%. As you said Vidor just needs to start off fast. Those Bright Lights seem to help them.

    • What the writer stated wrt crossover votes in the primary/runoff: "Covey and his supporters Paxton and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick said Phelan only won because Democrats crossed over to vote in the Republican Primary for him. Paxton said Covey’s campaign identified “at least” 1,442 Democrats who voted early in Jefferson County in the primary runoff. Texas does not have party registration, but a voter’s primary voting history is public. The Covey campaign has not released its methodology behind its claim, but  This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up  by The Texan news website found that 9% of Republican voters in the March District 21 primary had voted in one of the previous four Democratic primaries. However, only 5% of that group had voted in all four previous Democratic primaries. What Phelan’s opponents did not mention is historically Democratic Jefferson County is undergoing a political transition towards the Republican party — the county judge switched his affiliation to the GOP in 2017 — so many residents have a mixed primary voting history. And Phelan’s allies in the House dismissed the idea that liberals swung the election. "I knocked on doors, hundreds and hundreds of doors, made calls for Dade,” Republican Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, said on Mark Davis’ radio program Wednesday. “I did not speak to a single Democrat down here in HD21. Not a single one." "
