Friendswood v. Pearland Dawson Game

Great game last night between these two teams. Friendswood had a chance to tie on a two point conversion at the 6 minute mark in the 4th. Dawson put game away with a late touchdown drive.

The Dawson offensive line is huge, they have speed on the edges, and #2 at RB is the real deal -- 35 carries and 208 yds.  Offensively they are gonna do fine.  Their defense is not equal to their offense, but if they get ahead they will play ball control offense, put up points, and keep your o off the field.

There were no turnovers in the game (Dawson did block a punt), but Dawson had at least 5 personal foul/ unsportsman like penalties that kept several Friendswood drives alive.

There was one terrible call that gave Dawson a quick TD in the first half.  On a long sweep/ or bubble screen on which Dawson scored a ref called an illegal chop block against Friendswood which was on defense.  After a long conference the refs upheld the call and the Dawson TD stood.  They may have scored anyway, but that call was awful.
