Beaumont Ozen, so talented on offense, is sitting in some seriously hot water right now after this loss, stuck at 1-3 in district play and a game behind LC-M and Central, with only a tiebreak over Central. Ozen, perhaps as a microcosm of the season as a whole, got started late in this one, scoring its first points two minutes into the fourth on a Jakobi Jones’ touchdown run to draw within nine. But LC-M more or less put the game away with 5:55 left when Alex Sezer ran for his only TD of the night (to go with 187 rushing yards). Once again, the passing game just wasn’t there for Ozen, and the offensive imbalance hurt it.
