what should they try to get/improve in the offseason?

They need any young talent they can get. They won't be competitive yet. Look for more young guys to get playing time and see if they can develop.

I would expect about the same as this year...it's going to be a few years.
Keep stockpiling young talent.

1st base-Brett Wallace...we need to keep him there!
2nd base-Jose Altuve.
Short Stop-Jed Lowrie..very underrated
Left Field-Justin Maxwell.
Center-Jordan Schafer
Catcher-Castro..

I would agree with that.
Lowrie has a chance to be very good....as does Schafer.

I'm afraid the Astros will make their debut in the AL much like this year in the NL. They will be at the bottom of the list... While I do like some of the youngsters y'all have pointed out, they desperately need some pitching to be able to compete. The rebuilding process does take years. I'm just hoping for more positives along the way.
