This year made 7 of the last 10...starting in 2002...(02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 12)....I was counting 2001 initially, but that would have been 11 years ago now...So in the last 10 years, HJ AND Ozen have the most regional tourney appearances.. 8)....CORRECTION THEY DO HAVE MORE! I forgot about the 08 appearance where they lost to Yates in the regional semi in Katy....[b]8 of the last 10 years[/b], Ozen has been to the regional tournament...I STAND CORRECTED BY MYSELF!

Yeah we beat Wheatley to go to Austin in 2001, then they lost to them in the 2005 Regional...missed 22 free throws that game and lost by 2...missed 17 in the second half, including 5 in a row down the stretch that cost them the game...Wheatley wore them down with the pace, and hard fouls, and they could never get the tempo controlled..They were 34-1 that year...8 out of the last 10 regional tourneys, Ozen has been there...HJ who? ;)...(thought I would give you a little ammo, BD!!) ;D

22 missed free throws?  Not a terribly ringing endorsement of how practices were conducted.  34-1 vs. 39-2, both disappointing seasons.
