Guest ECBucFan
Skyline lead 24-14 with just over two minuets left, but then a SLC TD run, an onside kick recovered, and another TD in the final minuet propels SLC to an improbable win over favored Skyline an into the State Finals! :o

MEM
Wow, unbelievable....Great win for SLC and devastating loss for Skyline...And I thought watching my Trojans (last night) give up 2 TD's in the last 8 mins to lose was rough... Guest KHS 89
Sounds like some discrepancy as to if the onside kick traveled the necessary 10 yards before being touched by a SLC player???
Guest ECBucFan
It probably did go 10 yards. After reading several accounts posted, all say a ref had a perfect view of it. Also, seeing it at an angled view on FSSW-HOU, SLC players blocked DS players off the receiving line, then another SLC player came in from behind and snagged it out of the air. The SLC player himself did not go 10 yards, but the ball did, similar to a running back or receiver stretching the ball over the goal line. Its the location of the ball, not the player, that mattered. It was a good call.
