Charlotte Posted December 7, 2011 Report Share Posted December 7, 2011 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! The 10 U GT Shockers competed at the 16th Annual Katy Christmas Classic this weekend. Sunday afternoon the Shockers and the Katy Cobras were undefeated. The Shockers started out hitting the ball well against the Katy Cobras ace pitcher. The game was stopped due to bad weather and the tournament director made the decision to determine the winner of the 10 U division with a coin toss. The Shockers lost the coin toss and were awarded 2nd place. I was there with my daughter who was picking up with a Houston team and observed the 10 U girls playing. After getting an oppurtunity to watch them play I was greatly impressed with the overall team performance. Normally I am watching the 12 U and assisting with bookkeeping and other duties and catch glimpses of them from afar. These young ladies work well together and I am looking forward to watching them in the spring. Keep up the hard work. Coaches excellent job. Parents be proud.
