As was announced earlier this evening on KFDM Channel 6's Sports Xtra, we have the SETXsports Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.  And the podium is a bit crowded as you will see:

[b]Offensive Co-Players of the Week - Kenneth Mayfield, RB, Port Arthur Memorial and Andres Herrera, QB, Dayton[/b]

Mayfield  had 22 carries for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns in Memorial's 38-35 win over Clear Springs Saturday.

Herrera was 24 for 32 for 376 yards and 4 touchdowns in a Dayton 41-23 win over Magnolia West.

[b]Defensive Players of the Week - Beaumont Ozen Defense[/b]

The Mighty Panther defense held #3 ranked Brenham, who came into the game scoring an average of 41 points, to a paultry 10 points in their 14-10 win over the Cubs.

Congratulations to Kenneth, Andres and The Panther Defense!!!!
