I was at that game.  If I remember right Vidor played Aldine.  I think that as Aldine was about to score one time that they fumbled and a Vidor man caught the ball in the air and started running.  I thought you better score because I don't believe your offense could finished the job but I believe he scored for Vidor only score.

Saw Central JV game. #25 is powerful @ fulback. He drug 4 Central defenders into the endzone from the 5 with no time left to give Vidor the win.

I have some fondness for that 2000 season.  Those were the people I should have graduated with, but instead, I graduated a year early.  I went to that playoff game against Nederland at Lamar.  It was cold and nasty.

He's a sophmore. Started the season on Varsity but the coaches dropped him back to JV to get him some playing time.
