WHY??????????????????????????

Recommended Posts

Why change qb and offensive scheme?  Bevil (not a big fan) was on fire!  He was 23-29!!!!! We were moving up and down the field, using TE,Wr,rb in the 1st half..and we change everything ..Jerijohn is a one series qb..he gets his big play, then poof, defense keys on him, cant pass to save his life...........he is a wishbone qb..but leaving him in to pass?????

Woodard lost this game

got the ball on the 1,with our d..go for the TD...fake punt from own 30?..and ya throw it to the guy who is going to be covered no matter what?  use up those 2nd half timeouts???

sheer stupidity on the coaches part....

wow! :o
So how did JJ do?
he had his "spark" 50 yd rush td..then the d figures him out..then..nothing, nada...cant pass, panics and looks to run and all the def has to do is key on him

the qb switch is a head scratcher for sure

Can't really say much about that....maybe this is how they wanna bring him in...I understand what ur saying....it sounds like the problem at Lamar may be defense....did you know that every defensive starter at WB(last year's team) got a scholarship?  the last one was Bluett to UT...guess how many went to LAMAR?....

I Gotta Agree Wit U It Was The Coaches That Caused Them The Game Tonite. Andre Bevil Did A Good Job Out There Tonite And He Hurt His Foot So Thats Why Jeremy Entered The Game, But Jeremy Did An Awesome Job Out There Tonite To Me. Yea He Had His Mistakes But Thats Part Of Being A Freshman QB. Lamar And Its Fans Should Expect Great Things From Him In The Future!!!

Bevil pulled himself. Complaining about a hurt ankle. But when he had a chance to lead a 2 minute drive at the end all of a sudden that ankle didn't hurt anymore....

IMO they should have never let him come back in that cold after Jeremy had been in awhile.

Don't blame Woodard for pulling him. Bevil pulled himself.

Bottome line is Bevil is a head case and Johnson cannot pass the ball. Coach has to go find a qb this spring bc he does not have one. I hope we can beat SFA and Nichols to save face on a good season.

Fact is that we dont know the whole story but Im with you Johnson is a horrible qb and should be moved to wr next year. Shame bc Bevil had a great first half and then to pune out in the second half? Cmon Bevil.

Bevil had a good game. I am just glad we have football back.  We will have our ups and downs but we will improve as the time (years) go by.  The team is not bad. They need a little more beef on the defensive line but they did a decent job.  In time coach will have a good team that we will be proud of.  I for one am proud of these guys.  They work their tails off and want to win.  Give them a break.  They will make us proud.

One minute yall hollering for Johnson to start and dogg'n Bevil. Make your minds up
I, for one, have never wanted Johnson to start this year...I've been a backer of Prewitt

That said, Bevil was having an awesome game...I'm not so blinded by who i would like to see start as to not give kudos to Bevil for Sat

And smite me till hell freezes over, our coaching staff is not up to snuff
