attackpack
From what I understand rip it will not be allowed and marucci's are on the bubble. My son used marucci during summer ball and liked it. I still saw a few long balls, but there will not be as many as there was last year.
BringinTheHeat
We just bought a 2012 Nike Aero M1 ($199) It is the one piece bat, had problems in the past with 2 piece bats.. My boy used all the BBCOR bats this summer and this one felt the most live to him. It sounds more like the old aluminum also. Just his preference. ForeverADog
I thought the bats were so closely regulated now that there wasn't much difference and that it was all about what felt the most comfortable?
SWB
Our boys played a 15U Tourn recently . There were several of the top BBCOR bats in the dug out .. All the boys ended up swinging the Rip IT bat .. They all said it had the largest sweet spot and the most pop. I can tell you the sound was closer to the classic aluminum ping .. All the other BBCOR bats sounded more like wood bats. ( which is really the goal of BBCOR). Haven't heard the Rip It is baned for high school play, it has a BBCOR stamp ??
