Just from what I heard good running game.

Matthews said earlier this week that Texas High would be the best team the Pirates would face this year and would be a great early season test....sounds like the Tigers will be a tough out.

Texas High is good and probaly the biggest team we face all year.(Just like last year)  But Central and Kirbyville were the two best teams we played last year.  Nederland, PNG, Central and Livingston are no teams to sneeze at.  We will have to see.

Yep thats true and if you've seen it once you've seen it a thousand times . They also have coach Forman who is very familiar with this offense.

Well that same old Mathews and company made it a win last night...last years films and all.  Great job Pirates.  You looked good.  Need to work on some things, but hey what team doesn't!!!
