Spindletop indoor facility

Anyone know when it is opening? ???

I heard it was being held up in the courts or something. Some sort of disagreement between Spindletop and the city of Beaumont. I hope thats not truly the case because the community is losing out on a great facility, just like the empty YMCA just down the road.

That's good to know, but what is the reason? Why is it so hush, hush?

Probably a matter of.  To run the air and up keep and taking care of this facility wil take money.  So having time rented and making money to support is hasnt worked out yet. Do not know if this is correct but just figuring that may be a problem.  It is an extremely good idea and a nice facility, hope they can take care of it once it is open.

There is no date set as of today.

As someone stated earlier, this will be a great asset to the whole community ( entire golden triangle and beyond) when it does happen.

When it opens it is going to open "right." 

As many of you know, Cris Quinn was a lawyer at Reaud, Morgan & Quinn.  We've been occupied with some big cases that have kept us from putting the final pieces in place to get the facility opened.

When it is time to open we will be sure to publicize it.
