It was a fantastically pitched game by both hurlers. Conner for West Sabine and Hendrix for Big Sandy.  Is Hendrix their #1 pitcher? Think I had him at 153 or 154 pitches tonight(know it was 129 going into the top of the 7th.150+ for sure). Must have a rubber arm!

No he doesn't have a rubber arm......he has a coach that doesnt have a clue, and when losing stands over in his play-pen on 3rd base and pouts like a big baby!

Hendrix had 155 pitchs ,  that is ridiculous !!    If a coach let's a pitcher pitch 155 pitches he don't need to be coaching...professionals don't even do that much less a sophomore in high school !

I agree it was a ridiculous amount of pitches. Think he hd his arm in a harness after the game last night. Sounds like today's game was a barnburner with West Sabine winning 9-8 in extra innings.

It was a good game 2. Zach Barnard did an excellent job pitching until middle of the 6th when he went from the mound to being in his spot behind the plate. It's still impressive to me to watch him hose an attempted steal at 2nd after throwing 101 pitches.

Hendrix is a pitcher to watch, and Barnard a catcher to watch, both sophmores doing a great job!

Congrats to west sabine to pull a 1 run lead to win.

You are right. That Barnard kid does indeed have a cannon for an arm! Hosed two of our guys at 2nd in game one. Congrats on a great season to the Wildcats. From what I heard is that they are all either freshmen or sophomores, so they appear that they will be competitive for a couple years to come. I wasn't at the game, what forced it into extras?

By the bottom of 7 it was tied up 7-7...........Big Sandy scored making it 8-7 in the top of 9 , WS scored 2 in the bottom of 9th to win with the 1 run lead....(If I remember right haha)...pretty much how it went. Never the less extra innings came from being tied up 7-7 by the bottom of the 7th

155 pitches !  HOLY  :-X , what was the coach trying to do ?  He must not care to much for his kids arms .  Dont hang your heads Wildcats you guys are young, freshman and sophmores .  Good luck West Sabine.
