      I really enjoyed seeing this game. Both teams played well. I was impressed how both benches had good depth. Quality of play did not seem to drop off. I must say #9 for Livingston is quite an athlete. He has speed, quickness and good foot skills. Any chance he will continue play at the college level? He also had other quality teammates who handled the ball well, especially at midfield.
    Lumberton was sharp as well. While everyone contributed to their success tonight the defensive back line was the strong point. Except for the one goal allowed in the last 3 minutes of the game they denied Livingston any opportunity to get back in the game.
    Both teams are now knotted at 5 and 1. If both teams win out the second half of district play, will first place be determined by head to head goals for/against? (I believe it is 7-6 in favor of Lumberton) If not, a playoff game will be a must see game.

Good post WellRead. It was a good game. Lumbertons defense was strong tonight. There presense was felt in the midfield too. Livingston struggeled to get any offensive rhythm going. Our touch was diffidently off tonight, but that's credit to Lumbertons defense. We are both 5-1 and if we both win out, we both are co-district champs. However Lumberton would go #1 seed and Livingston would go #2 seed in playoffs due to a tie breaker of goals scored. Good luck to Lumberton as we both want a good showing in playoffs against 38-4a and beyond!

Livingston was a little off there game that night. It happens in sports. Livingston played a good game. The refs were horrible,but seams to be the norm at lumberton, which didnt help.
