Tonight, second place in District 10-2A-I is on the line as the Newton Eagles travel to Anahuac to take on the Panthers!  The Eagles and Panthers sport identical 4-1 records with Newton coming off of a 62-20 pasting of Hardin and Anahuac seeking to keep the momentum of a 40-23 victory over Woodville.

Some one from Newton use to call me from the Newton field house at half time to give me the half time score, it was usually Coach Barbay, I really miss talking to him.
