It is interesting in all the teams in the 3A final four went UNDEFEATED in bracket play except Jasper--Bridge City defeated them 10-5 in the first game and the lost at the last of game 3 after leading 2-1 quite late and then were tied 2-2 till a late error was their downfall.  Matt Hicks showed he is All State material in his Pitching ability to take such a young team so deep in the bracket play.

Heck, why wait that long.  [b]It appears that rankings are done strictly by won/loss percentage.[/b]

Consider this:

In 1A, here are the winning percentages:

Evadale - .853
Windthorst - .829
Stamford - .742
Thorndale - .686

In 3A:

Pleasant Grove - .945
Giddings - .911
Jasper - .897
Lubbock Estacado - .800

In 4A:

Calallen - .902
Brenham - ..875
Wichita Falls Rider - .860
Frisco Wakeland - .756

In all the above cases, the team with the highest winning percentage is pitted against the team with the lowest and the team with the second highest winning percentage is pitted against the team with the third highest.

Come on broadcaster, what is the next one. LOL!

I dont want to bust a bubble, but I was talking about opponent records, as what was the total win loss records of their district that they played....how strong was their district....you know strength of scheduale....Now go back and do it again....(throwing paper work in garbage can)  Jeeez ask for one simple thing and now the dog ate his homework......I'm glad you dont work in the legal field  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I wasnt concerned what the UIL used, I was wondering for my own vast knowledge,  I wanted to see a comparison of the teams.  NOW if that is toooo difficult I'll just use the "ask the 8 Ball".  ::) ::) ::)
