bh89-2
When you look at the college commits, sure seems like we are putting a 2nd tier group on the field. I guess there is no advantage to getting hurt if you have commited to a larger school. Not knocking the kids, but you have to figure a Blinn kid is not the same caliber as a UT, ATM, Oklahoma, etc.....One thing for sure, it's always a very competitive game. [/quote]89, that is because those kids that have committed to either UT or the other top tier football schools will be playing in either the THSCA All-Star Game or the Army All-American Game or have already enrolled at their respective universities.Contrast those with the THSCA roster: http://www.setxsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=68692.
bigdaddyblue
The D-1 schools now enroll there kids in the 1st summer session of school..Most D-1 kids leave after graduation to attend there university...Read an article about the Texas High School Coaches Association complaining about the problems of putting together top all star teams in Texas due to D-1 kids being already enrolled in summer school classes...
